bit harsh on Coates. Hasnt played a game in ages and has to play his first one against that attacking line up. He has looked ok except for those lapses of concentration which can be expected without match practice, against any team outside of the top 6 he might not have got punished for them
We mustn't be too downhearted after this. The quality of their goals has been amazing. They haven't carved us open easily really. Everyone needs to play well to get anything and a couple of ours haven't quite been at it. No big deal
dont think there is any other team in the premier league able to score the kind of goals they have tonight - at lest not 4 of them in one game
I think Rodwells been spoilt. As in ruined. At Everton he was supposed to be centre half. Then he got a run out in midfield in like cup games for everton because they lost Gosling (you know who, the quality man that is Gozzah) and Arteta. I just don't see Rodwell as the box to box midfielder. Sure hes had a decent shot or two in his time but so has John Terry. He just looks lost, games pass him by. And this is a guy who had games with englang right? Maybe he just needs a season or two in the championship..figure out what his game is. Because he must have the ability..having made it into so many england youth teams.

Not a night for tinkering with a team, but after last Saturday there may have been a cunning plan in our team selection. See what you get trying a new system and give returning players a runout and then win next game against lesser opposition. Just a shame we get City when they are on top of their game. Gotta love football.
