I really rated what I saw of Reed last year. Surely, as the club supposedly based on youth, we don't stop playing youngsters as soon as we get a sniff of Europe?

It's exactly the same story as last season, and at exactly the same time. It's really worrying we're suddenly getting these soft tissue injuries, because we had the lowest incidence in the league until recently. If we have to play Man U without Morgan, Cork, and Toby, we're seriously screwed.
I will cry if he and/or Pelle gets booked against Man Utd. I'd rather they missed one of our bigger games, than Burnley. Important to beat Burnley.
So so gutted. Plus side we played very well. Once Sanchez is injured then arsenal will fall down the table.
Just a shame for Forster, he was fantastic tonight and deserved a clean sheet. Marriner was awful. For both sides, really. Less biased than clueless but the way the game played out it hurt us more. The lineup this weekend is going to be... interesting.
Okay, thinking caps. Drop Davis into CM alongside Vic. Tadic in the AM position. Long and Mane on the wings. All is not lost chaps and chapesses.
I'm not having a pop at him, just making an observation that in the past two games he has faded in the last 10 minutes. I don't think he's a player like Cork or Davis who are sprinting all game, his running style is pretty economic and he relies on good positional play rather than constant moving, therefore I think he should be able to last 90 minutes. Just to make it clear I thought he was excellent all game and has been greatly improved this season, but we need to be able to rely on our midfielders lasting 90 minutes.
Our bench could be quite interesting on Monday. Even Long seemed to pick up a knock in the first half. And Tadic came off injured. Kelvin could find himself sat with a fair few kids. Forster Clyne Fonte Yoshida Bertrand Davis Wanyama Reed Mayuka Pelle Mane Davis, Gardos, five kids of your choosing That would be scary.
Always going to be like this with a bench like we have. Just can't carry too many injuries. Hope we can get a decent team out against manure.
