I can't see us getting anything tonight, would prefer to be facing someone in the top 6 as we seem to pull off a better overall performance. Hate to say it but can see QPR getting an early goal and pipping us to the post. Very negative for December 'aint i?
The problem is we don't really know what to expect as we are yet to see a real football phylosophy. If I was a betting man, which I am.. I'll go for both teams to score?!?!?
Ok of course they have a way they want to play, but you don't know what you'll get in terms of fluidity and style and that's not whether Shelvey starts or not
Qpr have been shyte all season and are struggling. We should win this with the better players we have, I can see qpr going straight back down tbh...
But we do. Leon / Carroll play and we get our traditional cohesive passing style. SHelvey plays we get long balls to nowhere and a lack of cohesion. We get Swans v Arsenal/City or Swans v Palace and others. The player in the CM role is a key cog in the machine and the temperament, vision and style that player brings on to the field dictates a lot. The only way for that player not to be highly influential is to play around him like he isn't there ... but then what's the point of him being on the field.
YES! Looks like Monk is going to make his players work their balls off through Sunday. I hope he has this side ready for the West Ham. Now all I need is a live feed.
Here's tonight's team lads #Swans team v @QPRFC: Fabianski, Richards, Bartley, Williams (C), Taylor, Britton, Ki, Routledge, Sigurdsson, Montero, Bony. #Swans subs v @QPRFC: Tremmel, Amat, Carroll, Shelvey, Dyer, Barrow, Gomis.
Don't matter how much Friar Tuck works them. They're coming up a superior quality side and it'll show. You might as well just write this one off now boys
I didn't even notice before .... Jazz on for Rangel. This is going to be a good night. Rangel gets a good rest for Sunday. We only have Amat as a defender on the bench - I guess we're going balls out to win this come whatever.
