    MATCH PREVIEW

THE R’S go in search of their first away point of the season at the Liberty Stadium – home of Swansea City – tonight.

After taking maximum points against Leicester City at Loftus Road in a pulsating Premier League clash at the weekend, Harry Redknapp’s charges will be confident of building on that result and performance with another improved showing versus the Swans.

Charlie Austin was the hero of the hour once again on Saturday, scoring the winning goal – his seventh of the season – in a 3-2 victory that lifted the R’s off the foot on the table.

Swansea, meanwhile, were held to a share of the spoils by Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Leading thanks to Wilfried Bony’s sixth goal of the campaign, Garry Monk’s men were pegged back when Mile Jedinak converted from the spot in the 25th minute.

There were fewer opportunities after the break, Gylfi Sigurdsson twice firing off target from the edge of the area, as honours ended even.

Rangers have no fresh injury concerns ahead of the trip to SA1, with Yun Suk-Young expected to be fit despite limping out of Saturday’s victory.

Bobby Zamora, who missed the Leicester fixture owing to a back injury, is likely to return to the R’s squad, giving Redknapp a further attacking option.

Monk has a strong squad to pick from, with Nathan Dyer back in contention to feature.

    PRE-MATCH TALK - SWANSEA V QPR

R’s midfielder, Karl Henry: “It will be a tough game, they’re a good side who keep the ball well.

“It will be a different set of tactics for a game away from home.

“Our home form has been good. We have a gameplan at Loftus Road and it’s working well. It’s not pretty but we’re getting points, but we need to start picking up points on the road, it’s not enough to rely on your home form.

“We want to go there, make it ugly, make it difficult for them to play, and hopefully come away with something.

“We need to give the travelling fans something to shout about.”

Swans boss, Garry Monk: “We can't dwell on Saturday. That was the message to the players afterwards and we're now looking forward to Tuesday's game.

“We are improving as a team and that takes time. I'm always looking at things we can improve on but right now we're doing very well.

“It's always nice to have a full week of preparation for these games but all the players have experienced it before in their careers.”

Nice as ever 9's. I'm sticking to my delusional first away win though entirely understand I should probably be locked up just for thinking it.

The betting odds are interesting. They are not wildly apart.

The boy Nines does a grand job of this every game. A great feature of our Board.

Glad Dunne is back in. Think the balance may work today. Strong five men in midfield, with Vargas and Nick to support Charlie. For the record, by work, I mean grab a jammy point!!

Onouha starting instead of Isla at R/B? Strange.

Strange decision to drop Isla unless he's got a knock. Onuoha just isn't a full-back.

That picture of Kranjcar suggests you wouldn't want him hanging out near schools.

Possibly 3-4-3 with the ball and a 5-4-1 without.

I think Kranky played too well against Leicester to be dropped. It was obvious that Vargas would start on the right, but I was assuming it would be to accommodate OBZ's return.

Isla dropping out is strange alright. Maybe he's picked up a knock in training.

    1. Onouha is not a RB. But we have s very good one on the bench
    2. We continue to play with 4 central midfielders. FFS.
    3. We lack pace with no Isla or Hoilett.
    Did they leave Routledge out!!!
    4. Barton is playing.
    5. Swansea are a much better team than Leicester. They will pass us to death. We should start with BZ to bypass their midfield and then change if necessary. I'm not a fan of long ball football but sometimes needs must.

We will struggle big time with Ned at right back. Not confident now of getting anything from this game. Is Isla injured, if so why on the bench.
