What a tosser. It pi$$es me off so much Wenger and co expect every team to sit back, let them play and admire them. We were awesome yesterday, how can a team that hit the post not want to win?? Any decent man would be relieved Costa didn't get sent off and praise the opposition. http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...ea-Jose-Mourinho-post-match-reaction-football
Shearer saying that Chelsea were off their game too...They just can't help themselves, and I think there must be a media rule that they are not allowed to give us praise..
I've just read it again and it's not as bad as I thought lol, he's actually praising our defence. I've had a few beers ha. Hes still a tw@t though.
I hate it when a top 4 team gets outplayed and instead of praising the other team people say it's because the top 4 team had an off day. Boils my pish.
No way were they off colour, our game plan worked by stifling them for the first half and they created close to nothing and with an ounce of luck we would have scored in the final twenty. It always tickles me when they try to sound philosophical and analytical within half an hour of the game finishing.
i lost all respect for the twat after we beat them at their place last season, propper bitter arrogant git
give him a football club with no money and i will tell you what he is **** all a total blag to be polite
Back in the 80s the "Big 5" were Man U, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs & Everton. Chelsea never figured and were as much a yo-yo team as we were. Some russian twat spends a billion on their club and they think they have some sort of divine right over everybody else. City going the same way, although their fans are a lot more sensible than Chelski's ever were.
Cattermole was superb, the defence brilliant, but we have the worst strike force in 12 years so that needs rectifying. I would start Jozy with Fletcher on wed, tell Johnson to get forward more. Another very tough game and Alamo sort of defending needed.
Once again we are put down for a good performance in defence of our goal. I seem to remember a few years ago drawing 0-0 at arsenal. From manager through players and supporters, we were magnanimous in our praise to their superb team, superb passing , movement etc which we said gave us (or any team) no option than to defend regardless of wanting to attack. Wenger said we were ''anti football'' and the media were quick to take his words. Very soon afterwards, Arsenal needed to avoid defeat away to an all conquering(Milan or Madrid ?) side. They selected a defensive side , parked the bus, and got the draw. Wenger and the media - '' tactics spot on, terrific teamwork, brave teamwork, a masterclass of the defensive side to the game'' . It's allways desperation and stealing a point by the less fashionable clubs but high skill by the tv darlings.
every dog has its every day in a fair fight ,yesterday safc were just a bit of **** in the way of a big clubs march towards a title afforded by way of money, well i am glad i support a club owned by a multi millionaire who remains grounded by the sport itself ,short could buy the title over and over make no mistake about this, but in contrast what price has been put on failure with no accountability other than a big reward for twats like morinio......hes to busy thinking of smug replies rather than owning up to his failings when his big hammer failed to crack this safc egg,you me and everybody else could see his teams limitations against our game plan ,i hope all of our so called lesser teams do the same against chelsea ,**** him he is a clown ,well done gus .
To be honest we had the best chances yesterday, yes they had all the ball but you dont win by having the most possession.
excellent imo. I want to be the anti-football team in the league. FCK the richer teams , totally ruin the game and stop them playing altogether. go even further all the staff and players should refuse to speak to tv companies apart from saying 'we hate football we are gonna spoil the game every week for the rich boys'. dISPLAY THE ATTITUDE OF A jimmy sTIRLING
Calm down, lads. Mourinho's actual comments; “Sunderland defended very, very well. Some people, some football Einsteins, criticise defensive teams, they say defending is a crime but I don’t, they were playing for a clean sheet, they were successful in that objective and I praise them. We tried everything to win but we couldn’t win – and don’t forget we arrived home from Schalke at 5am in midweek.” I'm not quite sure what you are getting all upset about. Frustrating for us, but we've done it to teams before, and will do it again when necessary. Gus had a game plan and it worked very well, so fair do's, and you could have nicked it at the end. Just do the same to Citeh and we'll all be friends again
