Thought it was a pretty good ""Fireside Chat"" about the game but must admit I almost parked my grociers on my table when someone said Shelvey had a pretty good game , like I say , I almost lost my mouthfull of Count Chocula

I think you'll find that Ieu was disillusioned when he made his comments and I promptly corrected him

Shelvey was easily the worst player on the pitch and it's hard to see why Monk kept him on considering how poor his decisions-making was..

 

Haha, fair enough Roof. I mentioned in it, I missed parts of the game because I was in work at the time so maybe I didn't see his best moments. I really do think Carrol should have started ahead of him though! Thanks for listening .

Listened to the whole thing: must be hard to keep talking for 15 minutes. Do you have a script of sorts? One of you obviously leads the other.

We normally have a quick chat before we start recording to discuss the topics we want to cover, but other than that it's all ad-lib.

Some of our previous recordings have been up to an hour, so we're making a concious effort to try and cut them down a bit
