If you want to forget CTWD and make this a not606 thing, then I'm sure we can sort it, not everything I do has to be with my CTWD hat on and I'm happy to help if I can. It can't be that hard to sort some sort of donation site and I'm more than happy to discuss it with James and get the Ulltras on board if we want to. Its an idea but I would be afraid you would open up a can of worms. Sponsored banners going around then next thing you know they dont want fan flags and banners in the stadium because they are taking away from the value of the sponsored ones.
Cheers for that. I think which ever is the simplest, but if others feel a board flag's the way to go, I'm happy with that too. I'd prefer the flag in the east or south for home games and any where it can be used at aways, not for petty possession reasons, but because I feel the ulltras will be moving to join the noisy fans in the north, so they'll get help from that. I think the emphasis should be on encouraging others, and this could possibly help. I'll do a quick poll on here. I suspect most won't mind either way.
We are a Premier League club with a multi millionare owner. There is a fans meeting with the club next week, just ask if Mr Allam can tip up his sofa. The loose change down there should cover the cost. Or the official supporters club could take it on board, what do they use the membership fee's for ? Oh and by the way you will need the club on board if you want a biggish flag, it's the rules.
Well me and 10 others will go and build a great big Bruce Out flag and it'll be bigger and betterer than yours. So nerrr
I'm not sure how practical the banner plan is (but I'd be happy to contribute if something is sorted). Meantime I'd just like to add that I'm still very happy with Steve Bruce - fans will rarely agree on team selection and so it's no surprise that people disagree with some of his choices. He is obviously a good man-manager and I love his honesty and humour.
That's excellent maulled. Would you be able to put a few sketches up based on what's posted so far? When people see a mock up, it could just prompt other ideas. So far, I think we're looking at an image of Steve's Head, on an amber background, with "in Bruce we Trust" on it somewhere. Personally I think simple, clear lines works better, but I'm not at all arty.
I don't know who some people think we are. We are new to the Premier League, we have no given right to be around mid table. If we stay up this season, which I'm sure we will, then we will be struggling near the bottom for years to come. Just accept it; we are who we are!

That's bloody good. It'd need tweaking to fit what ever banner size we're allowed and can afford, but it gets my vote in one hit.
Bravo! It's marvellous! Someone get a price and set up a PayPal. Offer a few quid in a brown envelope to have it ready for next weekend.
