I'll take the flak. Tony Pullis just for how he turned around Crysal Palace last season. :bandit:

That's not how Pullis works, needs to be given the freedom to do it his way. Not pretty but effective.
A number 2 to Bruce would only make things worse in my opinion. A leader leads where he thinks you need to go, if you decide you're on the wrong track get a new leader and take a differant route. Having two leaders means you end up going nowhere.

By the way i havn't joined the Bruce out campaign, only answering the question, boring Sunday

    From a palace fan....

PUlis left as he asked the chairman to sign a lot of older players like crouch to do a job. The chairman said he didn't want lots of old uns with no resale value and big contracts.
Pulis said he needed proven talent to sustain the club in the second year. The chairman said he had to use what he had or look at younger options with sell on potential.

As Pulis was told he couldn't sign his options he left.

Not sure the current chairman would be keen to commit to that.

Well let's see if Bruce stands by us if someone comes in offering more money.

Would he ****, he'd be gone in a flash.

Getting shot of Bruce would be a disaster for us, I know the people posting this are not representative of most City fans but it only takes a few idiots then you get all the Blunderside crew and other associated knuckleheads shouting for it. I think Bruce has made a few mistakes but he was not to know Ramirez and Ben Arfa wouldn't work out, also we have been hit by bad luck on quite a few occasions. Bruce will know he should have perservered with Tom Ince and Sagbo but hindsight is 20-20. We played well as a team when the likes of Meyler and Sagbo were involved last year, and Quinn was maturing into a good player too. The signings of Robertson and Dawson have been tremendous for us also. My best case scenario now would be for him to send Ben Arfa and Ramirez back, we don't need them, lets get the team spirit back without luxury loan signings with bad attitudes

Even if we went down I would want Steve Bruce to stay.

    Why ?

Because he sure is capable of getting a team promoted to the premier league , in fact he has been rather good at taking clubs up from the championship..

Then again imo we WONT go down .

I think given the last 6 game have been very tough, with some cracking results in there I must say. Maybe its after the next 6 games, which with a mid table target you should be looking to net 8 to 9 points, should be the time to start asking questions of him. At present still no grounds to sack him at all.

I agree. I reckon now is the time to really back the manager. I wonder how much those flags you see at some other grounds are, the ones with peoples images on?

We could get one made up with Brucie on it and pass it around the ground. It could even turn a negative of the north being isolated into a positive, as we'd need two flags. One going up and down the north, the other going round the east and south, with maybe even a third in upper west. <ok>

    Excellent idea.

The first real blip Brucey's had since he's been here and the poodling's of epic proportions on here. I hope this isnt reflected in the home support.

We definitely need to get behind the team and the manager.

West Brom is a huge game and we need to win it really, but we need to show our support. Yesterday our support was pretty average until the last 15 minutes when we started singing, we really do need to be the 12th man next week.

Agree with your idea DMD, but can't imagine they come cheap or they are easy to organize.
