    >Wouldn't surprise anyone with this. Following his show of petulance yesterday was he playing for an early rest for Xmas and fresh challenge in the New Year. He clearly looked frustrated at some of the play yesterday as did Cisse when he came on. Instead of playing to feet we reverted to hoofing it forward and hoping someone could get to the pass. Unfortunately, Andy Carroll was playing on the other side.

A$hley can smell the profit coming his way.

    Seen as Wilshire's cover.

If, and a big if, he goes doesn't really suggest ambition to be cover for someone who currently will always get into the Arsenal team ahead of him.

This. As Dreamboat's move has shown, the grass isn't always greener.

So is this instead of their multi-million pound move for Cabaye as cover for Wilshere, or was that just for last week?

This is the same speculation that surrounds Arsenal every year. It never happens.

I could see him as the one who might leave and certainly someone Wenger would want. Different thing altogether it happening though. The good thing is (for Mike), Arsenal now pay big bucks.

How about Sissoko to Arsenal and Cabaye back here on loan in January?

at this rate, with the Tiote link too we could fast become the Arsenal feeder club.

Or how about Sissoko and Cabaye forming a new midfield for Arsenal. We take a risk on Abou Diaby who breaks down in his first game and there is a mass protest calling for Pardews head. Yee hah. Get the pitch forks out.

Mind Arsenal can sign who they want, Chelsea have already made the two signings of the season in Fabregas and Costa. Love Costa, tailor made for game here. Takes no ****, gets stuck in, gives as good as he gets like Shearer or Drogba, and like those two he scores for fun while having a high class ability. And he gave a couple of digs to those Man U reject Mackems, Paddy McGuinness and Morph.

Fabregas is pure class. Wenger was mad not taking him.

I don't really see Tiote as a Wenger type player. I could see him going for Sissoko.

Would be funny if that wasn't such an accurate description of what would happen!

My mate's wife is a teacher and Olivier Bernard came to her school for a visit of some sort. Anyway he was in the staff room and no one was talking to him so being a big fan she did. He was talking about playing for Bobby among others things and talk got onto Cabaye. When he first came to England it was Bernard who put him up for the first couple of months and they became good mates. Before Cabaye left for PSG he told him he was giving it 6 months or so and if he wasn't getting in the starting line up much he'd be back here in January. Said he could play for Arsenal or whoever but knows he wouldn't be guaranteed game time like he would back at Newcastle. Of course Ashley paying higher wages would be the major issue in all this, but seems like PSG was kind of a trial for him at a bigger club and if it isn't working out he'll not want more of the same at a club like Arsenal or Man Utd.

Would love to see Cabaye back here. Doubt it would ever happen, but we would jump to a whole new level with him back in the team.

There are many admirers of Sissoko but I honestly don't see him moving until the summer.

£15m doesn't sound enough to tempt Ashley to sell his latest 'play-maker'.

    Non-story I think.
