Harry has now been with us for two years and is the first manager to achieve that milestone since Olly left in 2006.
Must be worth a party - perhaps we could hone players fitness on the bouncy castle? That's a thought though, how would he rank in the managers we've had since Holloway left? For me, pretty averagely. Warnock would be top and I'd have liked Di Canio, Dowie and Headbut Jim to have had longer stints before the plug was pulled. At the moment though, Sousa would be the man, imagine it - 12 pts and an even goal difference (zero for, zero against)....
Mmmmm.....not sure I can bring myself to celebrate this anniversary, what is it 6 Prem wins in 38 games...marvelous.....
Lol, this! When I saw 2 Years for Harry I thought the football police had charged and found him guilty for crimes against attractive and progressive attacking football!
So when he took over we were a struggling Premier League side heading for relegation...and now...um...I guess we are doomed for relegation but on the bright side, without as many mercenaries.
Two years? Have we improved in that time? I'd say not, but he has five games now against realistic opposition to show us his nous and experience as a manager to give us a chance. I shan't be holding my breath, but let's see where we are before the Arsenal game. ( COYR's )
I think he has managed to cut the wage bill and get rid of certain players who did not want to wear the shirt. As far as the team goes, I think we are about even as when he took over.
Well to mark his anniversary he certainly inspired his players to a great team performance today, and the match stats reflect that:- MATCH STATS Possession: QPR 59% Leicester 41% Shots: QPR 32 Leicester 19 Shots on target: QPR 6 Leicester 5 Corners: QPR 11 Leicester 5 Fouls: QPR 8 Leicester 17 Yellow Cards: QPR 3 Leicester 2 http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/30156605
I for one am glad we have had a bit of stability at the club. No harry has not done the best job ever but he has done what he has needed to do. I still believe that he will keep us up and he will probably one want one more season.
