We're so shaky at the back middle, can we do something about it?
Caulker looked a right flower at the start and it was majorly his fault. But then he woke up as did the rest of the team and we fared better thereafter.
Our forward press was good, but initially we lacked confidence just to run straight at their goal or to put meaningful crosses in! Have we been lacking this much in confidence? I suppose so.

Vargas is still better on the wider on the right and Fer is better in a more central role.
Did Charlie look slow to you today? Or were the Foxes that much quicker? We got lucky to catch them on the down, but when Cambiasso scored I thiught, "ere we go again" !!!
Joey looked slow as well, but as I said, because we weren't throwing enough crosses in enough at the start, it looked like Harry gave them instructions at the break and Joey got his curling crosses in and we scored.
Poor Suk-Yun. Hope it's not too serious.
Was nice to see Mutch back, hope he gets his senses back quickly as he is a solid midfielder and we need him.

    Onwards

Ned was shaky caulker was magnificent
Forwards played well and Charlie was as mobile as he has ever been
He is scoring so be happy
We never ever lacked confidence even the suicidal defending was not llacking confidence
Vargas is best near Isla but makes great runs and should have had two after five minutes
Joey was as poor as I'v seen him and I like him a lot
Mitch I like but was useless but needs game time
Apart from that you have it spot on !

Charlie is not speedy but they were quick too.

If we'd gone two down, I suspect we might not have come back so rather glad it was them that was chasing us.

Nedum Onuaha looked shaky. Started awfully and thankfully improved.

    Stephen Cauker was solid throughout.

Joey Barton was in fine form. Alternating corners with Nico Kranjcar worked very well. The ones he took were much improved from previous appearances.

Yeh, a very good top of the Championship type game. Hope we don't see it their next season. We may well though if we don't block off opposition running through us like that. I thought we really missed Sandro's physical and smart organisation in front of our back 4 today.

Good Championship match. Quality lacking in both teams. Barton, Krancjar and Austin have no pace whatsoever whatever they contribute, and as that's 50/% of our midfield and attack and it's a problem. Taraabt's overweight but so clearly is Austin and that needs to be sorted asap.

Keep taking the pills, and don't forget ya visit to specsavers as you seem to be slightly shortsighted and most probably a bit touched in the noggin , as a good Irish m8 of mine said to his workmate,"JESUZ PADDY, IS DER SOMETING WRONG WID THE FECKIN' CONTENTS OF YA FECKIN' CRANIUM "

Ned was shaky as well, but I honestly think Caulker wants to play forward, not defense. I mean how did he manage to get to be the one to cross for the own goal??? I wonder about him a lot.

I thought Barton was dreadful yesterday, not looking when passing, gave the ball away far too often, his shooting was awful then started to show one or two (shall we say ) clumsy tackles

    Agreed.

His clumsy tackles were born out of the fact that he was always a couple of yards off the pace and chasing the ball all over the pitch.
    His passing was terrible too.

He has been good more than he has been bad, but yesterday he was very bad imo!

I disagree. Whilst not a perfect display, there's a lot that goes unnoticed.

I also saw Joey Barton get done for pace twice, but then looked further up the field to see that Karl Henry had drifted upfield leaving Joey Barton to cover. Unless the team tactics were deliberate, I think this presented Leicester with a couple more chances and exposed our defence.

I couldn't see it on the MoTD highlights, so I'm not sure whether it was the build up to our first goal, but Joey Barton won a 50-50 ball then held onto possession from a quick second challenge in the build up. Prior to that nearly all loose balls in midfield were being swallowed up by Leicester.

Just look around after each goal; whether we've conceded or scored, Joey Barton is there barking out team orders and motivating those around him. Again during breaks in play.

It's all too easy to cite a couple of loose passes. Even his corners from the right were effective!

Poor game?! Pull the other one! <laugh>
