................................................................ please log in to view this image Redfearn has a dilemma whether to keep his faith with the same starting XI that got robbed last Saturday at Ewood Park or bring in midfielder Rudy Austin and defender Giuseppe Bellusci. Keeper Marco Silvestri has been given a vote of confidence by Redfearn following f***ups against Blackburn and Cardiff. Striker Billy Sharp is expected to resume on the bench again as Leeds chase only their second win in 11 league matches. Lee Grant looks set to return in goal for Derby. The Rams' number one goalkeeper has come through training this week after missing the last seven games with an ankle injury. Jack Butland, who filled in for the last six Championship matches, has returned to Stoke following the end of his loan spell. Jamie Ward, who has also been absent for seven fixtures, will remain on the sidelines. The forward has been out with a thigh injury since the victory at Reading on October 18. A fresh injury blow has seen Mason Bennett suffer knee ligament damage while in action for the development squad. The teenage striker may be out for up to two months. Head-to-Head • The last meeting ended as a 1-1 draw at Elland Road in May. • Derby have won 10 of the last 12 meetings in all competitions, drawing the other two. Leeds' last win was 3-1 at Elland Road in September 2005. • Derby have won four of the last five meetings at Elland Road, drawing one.
Not expecting much again I'm afraid, but would love a surprise. Hope more dead wood leaves, but think Wootton has something if he gets his confidence back. Red nose saw something in him as a kid otherwise he wouldn't have been scumming since he was 8-year old. The big news in football for me this week, is that yet again Rangers are begging for money. They have lost another £8m and even though Mike Ashley loaned them another £3m its not enough. Can see Ashley taking the club over soon. Craig Whyte arrested in Mexico and sent back to be arrested at Heathrow over his fraudulent sale of Rangers. Why are they skint, well could be something to do with still paying prem wages whilst in the lower leagues, and still doing it, but looks like they are falling short this season and may not get back to the prem as they planned. Absolute scandal and needs resolving, and a club spending big money when they don't have it and running up huge debts is unfair and goes against fair play rules. Scottish football is skint and even Celtic have seen revenues fall and tv money fizzle out, yet Rangers still drink champagne whilst the other clubs are on water.
Morning Chesh, a little tongue in cheek there. The gulf between Leeds Utd and Rotherham should be 30 or 40 places, not 3 or 4. We are under delivering, they are over delivering
Morning Elland. I think its fair to say Elland, all three players went to the only clubs that would have them, nothing to do with the clubs being better than us. They couldnt get into our teams.Fear not anyway, Hunt will be back on the 11k a week he actually earns
Morning all. Players moving on at least gives Redders the opportunty to see them in game situations. I doubt we would want Hunt back, but I agree Wooten's career at Leeds issn't necessarily over. Even Ajose has a chance to impress if he applies himself.
Good morning Matt and co from a dull damp cote de Bardsey Hunt was paid double at leat what he was worth simply because he Was McDermott best friend really should be investigated. Ajose as I told Glory was never a leeds player Wooton time is om his side he can come good I was surprised to see Mackail Smith go out on loan to Posh perhaps all the injuries he has sustained have had their toll but there was talk of him coming to us when Warnock was here. Will we win tomorrow I doubt it but who knowslets hope so
Morning Doc, Could be good for Wootton. Ranger seem to be Hemorrhaging money, much the same as we were. Wonder what there gate receipts are?
*Don't tell glory but I have hacked his account.... Chesh,* We are even better than last year, which was better than the year before, and so on (so it must be them over achieving (ahem)!
Ajose said he has been waiting for 3 months to get out of Leeds didnt seem to take him long to sus whats going on maybe he should talk to Chesh
Morning all Glad to hear that we have moved a few players on, and over the moon one of them is Hunt. I think that Wooton will still have his chance to break into our squad if he builds some confidence and plays well. CB is a very uncertain position for us at the minute after all. Ajose might have another chance if his spell goes well, but when we are playing a system that doesn't suit him, and without bringing in another couple of proper wingers to offer the required cover to play such a system, then his chances were always going to be limited here. What's happening with Montenegro and Del Fabro anyway? We haven't heard a thing about them outside of development squad games. Match Thread will be up around lunch time, just waiting for one of my stats sources to get their act together
Not suprised, 60 was on his back inside 2 minutes of poor bloke getting here. He never got a chance. You wouldn't see negativity like that from me!!!
