I may be wrong but I always thought the signs in supermarkets were supposed to be like directions, so you don't have to wander up and down lanes looking for what you want. Like bread, dairy, boys toys, surely it just let's you find **** quicker.
If Venus razors are a great gift for Cristiano Ronaldo, why shouldn't a superhero alarm clock be a great gift for a little girl?
Girls have it all their way as it is without being 'offended' by a sign in a supermarket. Would anyone even blink if a little girl played with cars, chemistry sets or dressed up as a pirate or robot = all things which we're told are the preserve of boys - absolutely not. But see a boy with a doll or dressed as Cinderella and eyebrows would be raised - wrong as that may be, it would happen. So little 7 year old girls should be glad that they've got it all and stop moaning and see it for what it really is, a shop using a sign as a suggestion for a gift idea. ... and gonzo - never thought of that
