If it gets him off twitter and makes us look more profeesional then i dont care.

I like Tf and he genuinely seems a decent bloke, but just cannot stand the constant posts, tweets and bullshit that he comes out with.

I could not name the owners of more than 2-3 other prem clubs, but im sure everyone with a vague intrest could name ours

TONY- sit down, shut up and just do your job. Thats all we want. Please <ok>

Kuala Lumpur to Hawaii, there must be massive demand for that route. He should consider Ambon-Vanuatu while he's at it. <doh>

There have also been Tweets that Boris has been pushing TF to reintroduce the Kuala Lumpur/London flights. They are meeting next week. I wonder whether there will be anything on the Old Oak development at that meeting as they seem to be getting familiar with each other...

On a positive note Fernandes denies Air Asia have management issues and problems paying staff salaries and allowances.

TBH mate, living on this side of the planet, i think you may find that is a more regular route than you think.
Lot of people ove here and across Asia still buy into the "american dream" and Hawii is still popular. Kl is a major hub from here so dont be suprised if it takes off !! (no pun inended)
Prob doesnt make much sense to those in Europe, but travel is different here. <ok>

I reckon it might be good news too. Amit knows what he's doing..

By the way, nice username. Back on the old BBC 606 site I had almost exactly the same (KuooPeeArr).. Great minds and all that! <ok>

I must admit that I am a little concerned that this is the start of Tony's withdrawal from the club. I know he is a front man and that there are other, very wealthy backers there, but I still can't help wondering if they are all going to get out now that the stadium has hit the buffers.

Sorry, but I'm finding this thread a bit frustrating.

If you look at everything purely through the lens of QPR you will get a distorted, myopic view.

This is a story about Air Asia/Air Asia X which appears to be having a tricky time. Fernandes is trying to keep his shareholders calm. QPR may be high profile but is just one of many, many business interests that Fernandes has, and is far from the most important.

Still think its a non story. Of course, eventually something will happen which will mean he and the others sell up/ walk away - another relegation, failure of Old Oak (I'm pretty convinced that the training ground has stalled because they don't want to spend any more at the moment), fans unrest. As long as they act with honour and write off the money they have put into the club and leave us with enough to pay any FFP fine, both of which the owners are entirely responsible for, no problem.

I think it's from an AirAsia trade magazine or something similar. A QPR fan named Mark Hillman on Twitter posted it. A few other fans asked the same thing but received no response.

This was my initial interpretation too, hence the question posed in the heading of the OP and not a statement of fact.

That is the view that most of the lads that I sit with have thought for quite some time.

    Good username yourself.

I had a vague recollection of seeing something similar once but like it as it plays on the way the yokels in Suffolk speak. So that it's fair, I will split any feedback - all grief goes to "That guy from the BBC site" and any credit (an unlikely event) will be lapped up by yours truly! :D

I have little doubt that your right (and most of these releases get prepared a while in advance I suspect).

There may be some informal delegation to Amit Bhatia while he focuses on other matters although that's most probably been the case for three years anyway.

Still, you can't beat a bit of conjecture and this one at least isn't completely baseless (although is directed at and aimed to appease a different audience from us). I think most of us still revel in the season of stability under AB (akin to an island with a military bunker in the middle of a tempest) and hanker after a return.
