Why isnt it? It's the best format that exists for breaking news. Every single decent journalist in the world today will use Twitter.
For once i agree with you. Macca was the only one who played at Burnley who actually deserved to play against Spurs. It would be more disappointing if Macca was happy to accept what happened. SB wont think any worse of his comments.
Except Martin Samuel the Sports journalist of the year obviously http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/ar...-thinking-like-big-club-Luis-Suarez-left.html FINALLY, TIME FOR A SOCIAL LIFE Regular readers will note an unfamiliar addition to this week’s column. The line: www.kicca.com/MartinSamuel. Well, I’ve finally caved. Yes, it’s a social media site. No, it isn’t Twitter. I’m not on Twitter for the same reason I’m not much given to kicking in the doors of a pub at five past 11 on a Friday night and shouting, ‘Anyone fancy a fight?’ KICCA’s a little different. It’s a community of several hundred people in sport — Mo Farah, Jamie Carragher, Sir Steve Redgrave, Shane Warne — no mugs, you understand. And me. Why me? I don’t know. I think I got invited by accident. Anyway, we’ll do all the things people on Twitter do, except maybe not as much abusing of Stan Collymore, trolling of the McCann family and asking Wayne Rooney out for a fight. Despite this, it might still be fun for some of you. Bear with me for a while, though, because I’ve not done this before, so if I post a selfie and there turns out to be a load of naked supermodels in the background by mistake, you’ll just have to live with it. I doubt if I’m going to break the internet, but we might have a laugh. To the bloke who imitates me on Twitter, I’m sorry if this puts you out of business. To everyone who reminds me I said I would never do social media, I refer you to the dedication at the start of Spike Milligan’s first war memoir. ‘After Puckoon, I swore I would never write another book,’ wrote Spike. ‘This is it.’
Bruce only played a few minutes against Arsenal and they equalised - 'barely put a foot wrong' - don't be daft
I don't see why Steve Bruce would be annoyed with a senior member of the squad saying he's not a big time Charlie and he wants a place in the team. Especially if its matched by a similar determination on the training pitch. It may even be a good example of how a professional behaves in the face of a poor result and being left out of the team for the next match. It may tell fans that at least one player has reacted in the right way. Or he may want out, but he could just quietly see if City would sell him. But he doesn't seem the type to disrupt the dressing room just for his own ego.
I think this is the first major mistake Bruce has made as our manager, coming out with the 'big time Charlies' comment as decent lads like Chester and your honest pro such as Mcshane might think it applies to them. Mcshane should be left out when the better defenders are available but he isn't a 'big time Charlie' . I hope Bruce isn't going to favour the likes of Ramirez who badly let the team down over the honest hard workers or we will have a genuine problem at the club.
I think SB was quite right to say some played like "Big time Charlie's" , as they need a kick up the back side sometimes, and the Spurs performance provided the evidence of this. At the end of the day the players that fit this description know who they are, if the "cap fits wear it". As far as McShane is concerned the reason he was left out of the squad really had nothing to do with the Burnley game, Dawson is our best defender, Davies is captain, and Chester, who arguably I would have slightly ahead of Davies, was on the bench. With us playing 2 at the back, then Macca obviously had to be left out.
As had been stated it looks like were getting very close to Macca departing, been a great servant to the club when call on, always gave 100% plus, but I was always on edge when he was on the pitch, a little unfair maybe always had the feeling that there was a mistake in him that would cost us( of late that applies to a few others as well)plus I don't think SB going to be over the moon regards the HDM article, although there nothing in it we don't already know,SB likes to keep team matters behind closed doors.
I like McShane , I like his whole hearted attitude , I like the fact he wants to play and is upset to be left out , the sad fact is though he isn't quite good enough for the PL I not sure how anybody can say Dawson isn't a better player
