Its just like anywhere else = dull. It will work well as a replacement for the Atyeo.

What were you expecting? It's better than what we've got and it looks like an attractive ground.

Very happy with the design. Hope we have championship football at the least to play in it!

Let's just go out and get the squad that can fill the place and get some noise going.

It looks better than the battered wedlock, I think the west stand looks better and would like to see a second teir added to the south stand.

The Atyeo is poor and personally I'd rather have kept the Open End.... I know the Atyeo had height restrictions on it due to the housing behind it though

<laugh> what was you expecting? I would of thought the away fans in the Atyeo has proved that the accustics is miles better than the old Wedlock stand. Just a few hundred Chesterfield fans in the corner made a lot of noise that no matter how loud it sounded in the Eastend it stayed in the Eastend.

It's like in work we've all been given a extra day off for health and safety achievement. I'm taking mine on Friday the 2nd January and loads of people I know are doing the same. But if work said well done on the achievement everyone have Friday the 2nd off some will always grumble.

    You can't please everyone

What's with the silly smilie? I was expecting what was produced, not a lot. Grumble? Well when Jon Lansdown made all those promises I thought there might at least be a gable on the stand.

I am in the Williams and can't hear a soul from the away support. Maybe its better for you because the away fans are now closer. City's support has bombed in the Williams where i am in the the now non singing section . That proves something else, it is miles and miles worse or is it just opinion!!

The South stand will be the family stand. More likely back to the Dolman A or B.

You might have to nominate yourself as South bowl leader to get that started.

    Don't take anything for granted.

    Standing.

    Price.

    Unreserved seating.

Why will the thousands who will move into the South bowl back the above in what is also their new world?

Is anyone here actually in the know at all? I keep getting more and more hints that Bristol Rugby and Bristol Rugby alone will be playing at Ashton Gate in the long-term....

I can't see any harm in sections of fans wanting to know what steps will be made to provide an area where like minded fans can congregate and lead the efforts to make a good atmosphere in the ground, its true that promises were made regarding this by Jon Lansdown that consultation would be offered to fans groups who were concerned regarding this.
Its also true that the atmosphere at the Gate has dropped off since the East end was demolished. Football has been sanitised there is no doubt about that, whether this is for the better is debatable.

As far as the images are concerned, it looks alright to me but my days on the East end are gone. I am looking forward to being able to walk around the ground and have a beer with mates who sit elsewhere. I would hope that once the ground is finished fan groups find a spot and continue to create an atmosphere to be feared but I certainly understand the concerns.
