He got rid of Aspas and tried getting rid of Borini, he knows when a signing isn't going to work.

Sakho has all the traits to be great, he needs to play.

He just needs to try and show a bit of spark and I will stay behind him. I honestly don't care if we are in the CL or challenging for the title or not. I want to see good football for my hard earned, and have a team that I believe that, on our day, we can beat anyone.

I was happy under Evans and Benitez, as I enjoyed every min of every game at Anfield. We were inconsistent, but we would spank someone every now and then.

Last season was obviously brilliant. You could tell from as early as the game against Stoke that a lot of teams would struggle against us.

This season baffles me. Yes, we lost Suarez, but he is just one player. The style has completely changed without him. We have slowed down, considerably. We defend deeper, we invite even more pressure onto ourselves than we did last year.

After what Spurs did last year, it was obvious what can go wrong if you try to bulk your squad out too much, but we ****ing did it anyway.

We all knew Suarez could not be replaced, but we should have spent a lot of money on a player of that style, who will make runs, who will get round the back of someone. We could then play the same way, with that new bid, Sturridge, Sterling and Coutinho getting forward, opposition defences worrying about all four of them.

We should then have built the squad slowly. We could have bought just 4 players this summer, all quality, and be better off. Yes the squad would be small, but I'd have no issue with blooding youngsters in the CL, getting knocked out in the group stages, getting 4th, and buying another 4 players next summer and try again.

Instead, we spent unwisely, keep playing in a way that isn't working, and look like we could lose to anyone. We have played **** this season. Really ****. I will keep going and supporting, but I'd be happier if it looked as though Brendan was learning from his mistakes, but he isn't showing any signs that he is.
