I think that the quality and number of threads are more important. Do the stats include NTTDS' threads?
No point in looking back. What can we all do to increase and/or improve the number/quality of threads?
Perhaps a few more post game and pre game threads, although we've got a good amount at the moment. A few more banter and word games might I,prove the forum, But overall I think we've got enough good threads on the forum.
Too many threads water down debate. sometimes threads suddenly kick off when they have been left to burn a little while. this was one of the problems with NTTDS filling the board with weather reports and local sandwich fillings for the areas of Britain we were due to visit in 12 weeks time. it would knock decent threads that had yet to get started off the front page.!
Our "Last Person to Post" thread has over 21,000 replies, so that would bump our average up by 3 per thread. However I suspect most boards have that kind of thread? Ours feels about right now?
We did use to have a couple of pre and after threads which were quite good, especially the pre one! I don't have enough time on weekends.... going down the list of boards is quite interesting, and the city board ranks up amongst the top ones which is a compliment to all on here who contribute... 319 members but only about 50 ? regulars! Don't we do well
