Jail sentence. Except he makes a lot of money and pays a lot of tax. 12 points but allowed to keep his licence.
It actually happened in October and he's on bail til December. Still, WBA won't be happy, it appears this is but the latest in a very long line of **** ups, including being caught doing things like sniffing gas and Jimmy Bullarding on nights before games. Doesn't deserve the life he has. The brainless **** should be sent back to Burundi to be shot to bits in a civil war.
I was about to remove the comment after the bit in bold as it was a bit over the top but as you've quoted it I'm a bit late. It's both, he's gifted at football which is why he was able to earn his career, but he's also earned the right to be kicked out on his arse because he's a complete dickhead. Unfortunately football is a business largely without morals so these **** heads will carry on getting away with ridiculous stunts like this. Most other jobs he would lose with a drink driving conviction. Specially one at 110 mph, it's beyond stupid. Fortunately this time it didn't end in disaster. And I wouldn't blame WBA for keeping hold of him whatever comes of this. They know all too well if they kick him out the door, someone else will just take him on, and they'll lose out on a lot for nothing.
And no doubt Nick Freeman will get him off, assuming Freeman hasn't swanned off into the sunset with the fees from defending buggers like this.
