This could be a tough game with Exeter a bit of a hit and miss side - I was thinking of going but cannot now make it. I wish the lads the best of luck - hopefully Mangan will be back to propel us to a famous victory - I predict a tight game and 1-0 to Town. Enjoy, Atcham!

thanks, Exeter have Ryan Harley back, on loan from Swindon. 29 yr old m/f. he is available but may start on bench. we need another win as other teams including Plymouth compete with us.

Sounds like we have a near full squad. Mangan unlikely but travelling just in case. Robinson still out but on the mend. I guess we'll revert to 352 formation, but who will be in central midfield?

Just Back. Just witnessed Melon, Jacko and the team hand 3 points to Exeter. 1st half Town brilliant 2 great goals, Exeter came out for 2nd half and scored in 1st minute. poor defence, 2 more goals and Melon like a frightened rabbit in headlights for 87 mins before bringing Clarke on. piss poor. Woods is playing at least 2 leagues below his potential and grimmer on rt wing was brilliant . woods never stopped running and was my mom. poor management today which may cost us dear. our Gk lucky not to be yellow carded for persistant time wasting even when town were 3-2 down. dangerous tackles from town 4 red cards richly deserved 2 were lucky not to be red. Collins and another player of ours arguing in public. later our goalie and a defender likewise. piss poor mr melon. sort out indiscipline on field. woods and grimmer out of this world.

Sounds a bit of a strange game - we are clearly not the finished article yet away from home but let's not over-react. Most of us would have taken being two points off the top near the end of November after last season. Looks like we were starting to believe our own publicity second half and football can always be relied upon to kick you in the teeth when you do that.Massive game next week - we can ensure that we get back into the top three with a win so lets all get down there to cheer the lads on.
Oh by the way - welcome back Rocky - very good win today -are you lot enjoying the view from the top of the table?

welcome RBA and a great win. we still have things to learn away. big game on 29th, Burton Home. just hope MM has dressing room calmed down forr us to take them in our stride, I cannot abide players arguing in public. possibly we are not used to losing. that may be sorted on Saturday and 28/12 if we have a fair linesman!!

Interesting to hear about players arguing on the field - I certainly detect what might be called (giving it the benefit of the doubt) a certain spikiness to our game this season. Call me old fashioned but I do not particularly like the way groups of our players (usually led by Goldson) are often surrounding the ref calling for opposition players to be dismissed. I would like to know what others think - is such behaviour an essential part of a winning team?

We went for a long time without a penalty awarded our way and I might guess not as many red cards to the opposition. We now seem to have changed that this season. Is there a link between the two and players arguing with the ref ?

    Matster,
Probably not as I do not remember seeing any ref change his mind over a penalty because of players arguing with him. We were so rarely in the opposition's area last season that I am not surprised we did not get any penalties - the two this season have both been stonewallers.

chatting to Exeter fans after the game, they thought town a very physical side. on what I saw had to agree. lawrence lucky not to be sent off. kept hearing groups of Exeter fans discussing and mesmorised by our coppernob number 4. they did not know his name but they won't forget him in a hurry, nor will I. sad that grimmer has gone as he and woodsy worked well.

jacko and MM continually shouting at players. how do the players hear them? Jamie Collins and another town player arguing feet in front of MM whose water intake was copious during both halves.

AJ hoping to get up on 11/4 to see town hopefully beat Exeter.
