I sometimes just read through the threads. At times it's difficult to think of something worthwhile, so I often just talk ****e like everyone else.
There's no point in commenting if it's already been said. There's nothing worse (well, maybe murder, rape etc.) than a thread with 3 or 4 pages of 'yes, I agree'
I reply when I have a point. I create when I think summit should be said. I ALWAYS look for the laugh. Sorry. It has beeb said of me that I am the master o0f the single entendre. x
I post from time to time but often when i think of some comment some one has said it already. I see that has been said by others on this thread so I guess I shouldn't have bothered.
i read alot of threads and think about comenting until big chris, badger and to a lesser extent chappaz chip in, then its on its way to a argument. I dont think off topic threads are bad at all infact some are more readable than on topic threads. But when things decend into slaggings matches it kills threads to us non regular posters
To be fair a lot of commenter’s merely repeat themselves. For me at least it can be a time zone thing or just that many turn into a slagging match & so I'll log off for a couple of days. A week or two backs events being an example.
I read the forum daily because it brings together a lot of news from many sources. It's a top way to keep up with the transfer news and rumours. I just don't get around to posting that often.
As an outsider (foreign, living on a different continent etc) I sometimes opt not to jump in, unless it's something I think my opinion may be welcomed. (imagine a foreigner saying: "Oh, the atmosphere at the SoL was rubbish, don't like the pink seats, Quinn out, Sunderland is a wasteland, players don't like the area" etc. Completely out of place.) Which is why I demand a film and gaming thread! *NOT* siddal's (sp?) bar. A dedicated film and gaming thread. I'd be at home there, and I'm sure our more casual posters will be too!
I agree If I knew what it was I would do it, many ask but can we do it or do we need the site to do it, help needed for old git
Maybe it can be a little intimidating to post as a newbie for fear of being shot down in flames I prefer to read post tbh, but I will endeavour and post more in the future
It isn't the most welcoming forum for non-sunderland posters, but I'm sure none of you give a **** about us anyway.
always liked Mod Face on 606, and overseasTOON's stories were brilliant. I generally ignore everyone else.
Indeed you were a newbie in January the same par as everyone else. But for example a new member joining the forum today and reading seasoned post (1654 count ) from someone like yourself could be possibly intimidating?
Only internet access I have outside of work is through my android mobile phone so connection is not always great. That's why you see me post more from here than from home!!
