Still early but the league table looks quite interesting so far.

Aside from Chelsea romping it of course could there be a few suprises this year from other teams or will we end up with the usual suspects at the top as per? and who are your picks for the drop?

Chelsea, Man City top two easily. Then Arsenal, Man Utd will be following. The question marks are over Southampton (how much will they drop), Liverpool and Tottenham. Those latter two you would expect to get up into the top 6 but neither are looking convincing and are giving Southampton a pretty big head start!

We will drop to below all the teams mentioned above and also Everton. 9th-14th for us.

    Relegated: QPR, Burnley, Villa/Leicester

The table looks sexier than a pair of redhead models right now.

    Fantastic!

If you'd have asked back at the beginning of October, then who would have thought we'd be top five by now?

Agree with Haslam though that over the course of the season, we'll most likely slip to somewhere around 9th-14th.

7th or 8th would be amazing, but with our injury list seriously piling up in time for all those tricky fixtures we have coming in December, then I think a mid fable finish would be good by the end of the season. December us going hammer the hell out of our lads - especially the young lads who have been thrown in. I genuinely expect more injuries by new year, as those fixtures are really tough.

Right now, I'm just going to enjoy it while we can. Certainly woke up this morning to a warm glow. :)

I think in the main the usual suspects will come through but Saints are an interesting one. They have got themselves a very good points gap over say liverpool and spurs. December is going to be a difficult month for us.

Obi if we have a mid fable finish does that mean the hare will still be beating the tortoise?

Think you could say the top 5 or 6 teams now, and yes that does include Southampton. Swansea, West Ham, Newcastle and Stoke will trying to get top 10 and may put one of Tottenham or Liverpool under pressure. Burnley, QPR and Palace will probably go though Villa will be down there until the end.
