LVG spent tens of millions on mainly attacking players and although he has an unbalanced squad at least its entertaining stuff. We're just so **** right now I'm left cold.

Really poor at the back once again and lacking a cutting edge in attack... again. Credit to Hull they're playing well and we're lucky to not be more than one down, frankly. When you've got 2 teams that both need a win and are in bad form an early goal can be huge and that's what happened, we're nervous and hesitant. Only positive is that we started to get a bit of momentum going forward. Officials have been really poor, think they've got more wrong than they've got right. Where was our Fergie time? One minute added after a half with a goal, 2 injury stopages and a freekick that took an absolute age to take. Minor stuff, I suppose but it's just a really poor call.
I'd be tempted to chuck Stambouli and Lennon on at HT for Lamela and Eriksen. Push Dembele down the left and at least we'd have width on one side and Davies might provide it on the other. The Argentinian and the Dane are good players, but they're not being used right and they're giving us nothing. Play them in the Europa League and give them the roles that they actually want, as they're basically playing them anyway and our shape is nonexistent because of it.
Dembele is being classic Dembele. Runs a bit with the ball and shows his strength occasionally but those aspects of his game never make up for the fact that he has zero end product.
I didn't think we were that bad tbh, perhaps my expectations have fallen. No width that's for sure and some naive defending. Lloris from the sublime to the ridiculous, but he is French after all. Dembele looks so like a novice at times with little idea where to pass the ball that has to be lack of confidence. We look better going forward but not quick enough and allowing Hull to set up, oh! and they have Dawson, we could do with a player like him. Perhaps we were that bad after all.
All this money spent and really, when you look at it, our only option for achieving width is to play Lennon.
and with Fazio this is an awful defence. is Lennon dead... I would have though some kind of width and speed might have helped but whatever poor coaching. poor ownership poor all round
