Haven't been on here for while ( got fed up with the cliques and wumming) but just have to comment on a truly shocking performance. Allen was probably our best player, gerrard ,along with Johnson,skrtel,sterling and Lovren,our worst,yet he stays on. The whole system looks slow and clueless. Apart from a good goal we offered virtually nothing. Every time palace lumped the ball forward we didn't know how to deal with it. Defensively we are naive and clueless. In fact Manures back line last night looks stronger than ours ( manquilla excepted who I thought gave it his all without any help.) why does Johnson play let alone play ahead of MORENO or Enrique. I know losing suarez and Sturridge would be a massive blow to any team but we are just so weak up front. We don't even have a player who can strike a ball on target. Very very disappointing and millions just thrown away on poor signings. Rodgers out!? Is that the answer?
Two players came out of that game with any credit; Allen () and Coutinho. The rest were garbage, but that said, I'd be suffering from poor morale if my team mates were selected irrespective of form.
Shocking decision that really did for us,nice free kick though. I don't think over the 90 mins we deserved to get beat. Draw would have been a fair result.
That's the frustrating thing. It's not working, but nothing is being done anything differently to try and rectify it. Definition of madness, doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome. Gerrard, Johnson, Sterling, Skrtel, Lovren, none of them have done anything to warrant keeping their place in a side and changing it up we can't do anything worse. Everyone (media) made a huge thing of the changes in Madrid but the team were no worse, against the best team in the World. Why the **** not give them another chance in a game they might have a chance in then? A I said, If I was Moreno, Toure, Can, Lucas, I'd be pissed off that any of those mentioned above are starting over me.
You want them to take on all 11 players on their own? Coutinho kept probing all game but no one could link up with him. Allen worked his bollocks off and never stoped, shame no one else tried half as much.
True, 1 shot on target all game. I don't think 10 minutes went by last season where we didn't have a shot on target.

Not sure why you quoted me with this response? 1 shot on target was in reference to us deserving something from the game. You deserve nothing if you only have 1 shot (unless you restrict the other team to none, or your United and score 2 from 1).
Last night you were very lucky ( yes that word is back when you mention United) but the one thing you did have was a terrific organiser in Carrick who, in the last 15 mins) held the back line together even though he wasn't supposed to be playing there. We have no one like that. Too many players like Gerrard and Johnson who just want to pass the responsibility to someone else. And I hope gerrard doesn't go on record saying it's not good enough when he is as culpable as anyone. And ,at the end of the day, if the manager keeps picking Johnson then we and he get what we deserve. He has been a liability for the last two seasons and shouldn't play for us again. Slow ,uncommitted and never tries to stop the ball coming in. Clueless going forward.
