The tactics were spot on, we dominated the game, closed them down and went direct at there inexperienced backline. We created tons of chances and they didn't do a thing until five minutes before halftime. They went ahead from a lucky goal and then we were forced to just go for it, again we created loads but failed to finish before they put in the inevitable second. Our defending was far from the key problem today. Our finishing cost us.
Ancelotti isn't the kind of manager I can see the board going for. They'll want someone they think can stick around for years
I don't want change just for the sake of change. I'd rather of we sack Wenger its someone who will take us forward all the way not just so we can say Wenger is gone.
The game was over the second we gave away that micky mouse goal. Utd were always going to park the bus and get another on the counter
I just confided in my girlfriend and she told me "it's only football crazy", I'm so depressed, want to cry.
hI This s..t is happening season after season, even with different personnel, its time for it to stop and also for the excuses to stop.
The lucky deflection goal while our keeper was injured? Yep, bastard defence, all there fault! If any of our players had put away any of our numerous good chances we would have at a minimum had a draw. We dominated and should be winning when we are that much better than the opposition. Really disappointed at our inability to score when we should.
Utd were **** but we are so easy to score against. Wenger should have gone in the Summer on the back of the FA Cup win. At least he could have left on a high. He's just doing the same mistakes over and over. We play decent football and he's put a good side together but there's no discipline and a complete lack of tactical understanding.
I'm so depressed, i told my gf i need to see her and go for a walk with her. :-( Anyways, I'm Arsenal till i die, I'm Arsenal till I die, I know I am I sure I am I'm Arsenal till I die. Sing it with me everybody.
That's the silver lining from today. For all the slating he has received, Giroud can make a difference in games.
I'm not feeling confident going into that game, but like today, if we can win it then it will give us a platform to build on. I'm pleased Giroud is back, because he can score difficult chances and he could be just what's needed at the moment, because the team didn't play badly today but got absolutely rinsed for not finishing our chances.
With all the **** our players have produced in the last 3 games, I think they will be up to put things right in this game. I would not want to be Dortmund right now, who are even worse than us, they blew a 2 goal lead today and I think their best player Reus is also going to miss the game against us.
