What you mean is a ponzi scheme. If it takes say 4 workers to pay for a pensioner today it will take 16 to pay for their pensions when they get old. It will then take 64 workers to pay for the pensions for this 16 and then it will take 256 to pay for the 64 pensioners. Can you see where this is going? Simple economics.
Yes I can if you always need more and more fit healthy young workers to pay for the pensions of older people you have only one conclusion. Stop giving new would be citizens the same rights and benefits as people who have been here for generations. In other words make them earn their place in society, not just demand it, because they have suddenly arrived here.
You'll never 'take back control of British borders', we've never controlled them outside of war time. Change the benefits system, i.e who can claim, and that will reduce the flow of undesirables. there's nothing in EU legislation preventing this. English/British politicians have failed to do something, that's the problem. It will also give the large volume of lazy British chav bastards out there a kick up the arse. Enforce the law. Europe has an ageing population. Two choices - allow more employable migrants; or tax consumption, not just income. How many people on this board can trace an English only bloodline beyond 3 generations on both sides i.e great grandparents? How many of you get that far?
It's funny that because the US manage. Illegal entry If you entered the U.S. illegally without a passport or by using a false passport and are discovered by an inspecting agent or at the time of departure, you will be detained (imprisoned) for a period of time and subsequently deported. The lack of a passport will not deter your deportation. When released, an entry permit will be issued by your nation of citizenship for you to enter your country. Once deported, an illegal immigrant is banned from re-entering the United States for a designated period of time. But they don't have the administration red tape forced on us by the EU which makes it extremely difficult to deport without a passport.

My main concern is not so much the level of immigration, although it is a problem, but the lack of integration with separate communities based on both religion and ethnicity evolving within the larger society...

This world could be much more prosperous for all people if it was not for the greed for power by a core few people. It's all good and well looking at the immediate and presentable source of trouble but it doesn't solve anything, a new hand can always be played to make appearances different on the forefront especially when the media are the primary tool to play people off against each other. Look at the general population, you have more people bothered about Xfactor & Big Brother than you do real definitive affairs & when the Kinky Slut Sisters singing about being shagged up the ar5e becomes more important to people than what is really going on around them then you are in trouble. A lot of immigrants come here to try to make a better life for themselves, if it was us then who can say we wouldn't do the same. The age old Abrahamic faiths (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) is perfect for causing division amongst people as they will never agree on the concepts of what is written, the reason being it's all been stolen from the ancient Egyptian mysteries and twisted into a tool of control. What better way to take a strong and unified nation than to throw the spanner in the works by infiltrating high positions of power and twisting the outcome of events to further the agenda of a core few. Read the tabloids and see that they usually have one page dedicated to how evil the right wing is then turn the page over to see another article about the need to control immigration & how Islam is taking over Britain. I really couldn't give a **** about what people think about what I am writing here, it's a whole lot easier to take no notice of what is going on and stuff McDonalds down their throats while watching some 5hit on the telly. Bring in a set of people that you know for a fine fact will cause friction, destroy the working lives of the the indiginous people by ensuring that work can by carried out for minimum wage by immigrants thus driving down the wage of everybody else. Get us all on the same level, feeding off crumbs, while some set of cnuts accumulate more & more at our expense. Communism under a different name. Purposely crash an economy then buy up for a fraction of the true worth.
