Is that related to either the adrenal gland or testosterone levels Bri? I should know really, I read a lot about mind conditions and irritability but can't remember if it's linked to either of the two.

If it is, you'd be a beast in the gym.

It's to do with the Frontal lobes(thinking) and the Limbic system(feeling) and the way the two parts communicate with each other, basically presents like ADHD, very very similar in behavior pattern but very different in the way the Brain cause each of the conditions.

Not sure how it effects glands, it's got to I suppose. So much to take in and still learning more about my condition every day

Well there's some chemical flying around inside ya that's causing it. If it's adrenaline you could be on to a winner, how's your resting heart rate and general fitness?

I used to buzz my tits off in the gym off my own hormone imbalances, too much testosterone and too much adrenaline zipping about, next thing you know I was ripped to shreds, then I had to get on stupid propranolol and I added a few % in body fat.

    It's like a natural steroid.

My doctor kept telling me to go get fit and my condition would improve, healthy body healthy mind philosophy, well it definitely helped me sleep and the rest just followed after that.

Gonna give coming off the meds a shot next year, probably in about 6 months. Worst case scenario is it doesn't work and I get shredded again in the gym!

Between smoking and joint pain my fitness is dreadful mate. I can be insanely strong though and have the mental stamina, I can punish myself mentally more than most, it's just my knackard body.

I don't get Euphorically high that often, my condition presents itself as a frustrated urgency more than a physical feeling of adrenaline. I'm rushed and clumsy and fast paced, need very little sleep. I crave insane amounts of stimulation. Imagine turning on two radios and setting each of them to a different frequency, how that sounds is how my thoughts layer. Sometimes there can be 4 or 5 radios, i can follow them though, especially after a spliff. I tap and twitch excessively and take unnecessary risks. It also gives me loads of narcissistic traits and I'm quite eccentric. I'm a mad man.

I'm built to stockpile muscle but a gym just isn't mentally stimulating enough for me to stick at it. I'd go insane. Besides, I'm not the kind a bloke you want in a gym. A dangerous bloke in a dangerous environment, someone could get hurt.

I hate meds me mate, I've been put back on them and ****ed them off in the last 4 months. Hope you come off them well marra. Always best to cope with out them if you can. It's knowing when you can't and getting back on them is the problem I have.

    Right, I think I understand.

Not sure how you understand lactic acid but I'll stick it in basic terms anyway...

If you were to go heavy lifting, or sprinting, the human body cannot generate oxygen fast enough to supply energy to the muscles being used. Instead the use of glucose through a process called glycolysis provides the energy. That's when you switch from aerobic to anaerobic exercising, and you'll get 'the burn' where it feels like your muscles are actually burning.

Essentially, when lactic acid is produced, you'll generate lactate metabolites which your brain prefers to glucose (from Carbohydrates).

Your body will be sore, your natural energy stores will be depleted and your brain will have fed off a more organic compound if you know what I mean.

Maybe for you there'll be some determining factors which would sway the results, but the theory is black and white, or red and white in your case ;)

Give it a shot man, gyms are empty plenty of hours in the day.

I know what Lactic acid is, It's the point most people break as they mentally can't push through the physical burning. That's where my self punishing mental mind over matter comes in. I'm good at stress positions and squat for fun. I can handle lactic acid a piece of piss, problem is my lungs usually give up before I get that far. But what do I expect? I smoke and live in a damp house.

What do you understand about fibromyalgia. Joint pain for no reason that comes randomly even though nothing is wrong.

Nothing. I'm not a doctor, I was only relating to Bri through personal experience.
