Some strange positions there. I know the saints have come flying out of the traps this season, but how have they managed to get on the world stage so soon? As for us, I've always seen us as No 1!

Paris Saint Germaine certainly is a shock to me with such a high position. There again, football has really taken off in France over the last 20 or so years especially since France won the World Cup for the first time.

Western City Wanderers, current Asian Champions, would beat every team below 35 !

Unlike United, we don't freeze v Barcelona, and have the best record in Europe against them in Champions League. Only Chelsea give in-form top European clubs a decent match, other English clubs just roll over v in-form marquee clubs.

The only time United beat Barca in CL was when they were in crisis in 2008 and finished 17 points behind Real in La Liga; even then they were outplayed

Might interest you to know we have met Barca 12 tines in the CL and we have won 4,drawn 5 and lost 3 goals 18-18. That's why we are above them!

Surprised Chelsea have only made it to the final once considering their domination of European football. It probably helped that Liverpool weren't in the competition the year Chelsea won it.

Twice actually. Beat Bayern Munich (in Munich) and lost to Man Utd in a penalty shoot out (JT's nightmare)

We have been very unlucky not to have had more finals though. Went out to a handball goal v Monaco, a ghost goal v Liverpool, penalties v Liverpool, a last minute goal to Barca in 09 - losing on the away goal rule in the process. Last year was the only semi final we've lost where we genuinely deserved to go out. Others have been tight or we've been very unlucky. Barca 09 was the biggest farce I've witnessed in such a high profile football matched.

    Not really.
See even if we were to concede that it should have been a penalty and a sending off, in penalties, the keeper gets the chance to save the goal.
Quite a lot of penalties have been missed.
Again, thats if you concede it should have been a penalty, which it shouldn't have been.

I'm just sorry it wasn't you or Katie that felt the need to jump in and mention 2008 Oswald.
