You're mistaking BR for a truly attack-minded manager like Ancelotti (who's even stated that he'll now use Isco for an injured Modric!). BR has gone the other way recently: flanking Gerrard with two defensive-minded CMs. Which is total bulls**t as we're suffering for goals as it already is. Gerrard is not going anywhere. He'll be on the pitch at kickoff. Let him be flanked by Can and Coutinho with both the latter pressing forward on any occasion without any of Henderson's reluctance. If Gerrard protests too much of their probing upfield, let him call on his CBs and FBs for more protection. Henderson's withdrawn minimalist role has been a major shambles this season, and both BR and Henderson are guilty for that.
I prefer we just hibernate until the start of next season. Any point continuing this season? Just start again in 9 months!
