    Hi everyone,

Would just like some feedback in regards to what you would like to see on Chairboys24/7 next season?

Any special features you have in mind? Any Improvements?

I will be the first to admit its not the best website in the world, but you have to start somewhere.

    Thanks

    Luke Harris - Chairboys 24/7

I'd like to see some young, nubile, busty women wearing light and dark blue quartered lingerie (note the WWFC link).
I think it would certainly improve the website and you'd get a lot more hits!!!

NB. If the lingerie is a problem, then naked women would suffice

    :emoticon-0102-bigsm nice one!

However I was hoping for some more mature replies, seeing as there is no hope on the gasroom!

Hi Luke. I think it's a tough one, you've got a lot of competition from the official site, newspaper sites that put Wycombe news on as well as here and the COTN/Gasroom/SMBU.

I reckon in order to make it more successful it needs to be a bit different - e.g. people aren't going to bother looking for latest scores/results/news etc when they can get it from all the other ones mentioned above. Might be good to have some other stats the BBC doesn't have, for example number of appearances in a season etc. Would also be good to try and stick some rumourmongery on there as well if you are in a position to be able to hear the goss. THe thing you don't want to waste your time on is trying to do things that other sites run by massive organisations already do as you'll not get more hits.

I also reckon more info on the new stadium plans (but again there are already sites doing this).

Sorry, not much help really but good luck with it, I admire what you are doing.

Here's the deal then. Young, nubile, busty women wearing light and dark blue quartered lingerie and we advertise it here as a "sticky". <laugh>:1980_boogie_down:

I like the idea of more players stats, I have been looking everywhere for appearance to goals ratios as I'm sure Ruth must be on about 70%.

Also, how about a spot for classic match reviews, once a week you dig up a review from a classic Wycombe win.

Yep I agree with the classic match reviews, as well as appearances/goals ratios. Also rumours etc.

I'll be honest, Chairboys on the net used to be pretty good when it was updated more, but they don't update it as much any more.

Being not based in Wycombe (or even in England), I don't get to see the Blues as much as I'd like and therefore have to rely on the web for all my info, so would be good to get some general news on there. Polls are a nice idea as well, encourages a bit of interactivity - again, that was something COTN used to do but seems to have stopped it now.

How about a 'where are they now' column, e.g. Keith Ryan: fitting flooring; John Kerr: coaching a soccer team in the US; Matt Harrold: in the knackers yard :cheesy::cheesy::cheesy:

Other thing as well, I reckon you can't underestimate the power of social media tools, so it's as important to have a good presence on twitter and facebook etc - link them all in to the website. Good luck!

Thinking about it more, there could be a real niche there for you - COTN isn't updated as much, the BBC just has the biggest stories and is pretty brief, SMBU is good but very very opinionated and sarcastic, and that just leaves message boards like this. I think you've got a gap in the market for some Blues News stuff that's slightly biased towards Wycombe but doesn't just concentrate on the White Elephant like SMBU does. I'm well interested in finding out about the stadium stuff but, for example, I'd like to hear about some of the youth team stuff as well.

Problem solved! A busy news site from a fan's eye view.

If we think of something else Luke we'll add it here later. It's difficult to think of many things that don't already exist somewhere else. I've noticed some other sites that repeat reports etc but personally if something already exists I would rather just have the link to the original. So you do, as already indicated, need things that aren't catered for elsewhere. Although if there are lots of interesting things all over the place, you could bring them together in one place with a brief introduction plus a "more" button which takes the reader to the original. Maybe then you could become the central source of all information. I think I would find that useful.

It might be hard to include, but i think a player rating system after each match would be nice. The BBC did it a few years ago for the big teams where you could rate each player 1-10 and it would aggregate out player scores to give a fans motm. I'd like this more than the normally goalscorer biased official motm.

Crikey, as I was posting that, Jock's already come in with some more good points. Didn't expect the suggestions to start pouring in before I'd finished posting. See, we are trying Luke.
