Loved Graeme Sounesses Rooney bashing at the end of the match ' I'm not bitter but he only scores against Championship players'. Rooney will go missing when we go to the finals again. Peter Crouch could bang them in against weaker teams for England too. Rooney is not an England great. Well done Robertson, thought he showed his naivety defensively but he is all heart, not many Scots score against England.

Sports journos don't stick to one sport.

Good try though. Give yourself a pat on the back and a sticker.

At one time I thought Rednapp began to duck! Great passionate punditry, what a scrap that would have been. <laugh>

Jack of all sports, masters of none. Give yourself a wooden spoon for not even getting close and stirring on the way. Lacrosse, have you considered . . .

I was was going to say the same thing - two attack minded left sided players that are as comfortable in defence as they are attacking. I'd play Robbo at LB and Brady LW, in the knowledge they can back each other up and interchange.

That,s fine if you're going to play 4_4_2 but you're going to have to drop someone in midfield or play a lone striker.

For some reason there was no TV feed from my provider so I was unable to watch the game so I can only gather England got lucky to win and the summary is: Woy's a ****. Rooney's a ****. Wiltshire's a ****. Smalling's a ****. I forget all the other names of the players except they're all ****s.

They're not ****s ... they're average players and they're average because English football is average and run by ****s. Greedy ****s in the Premier and stupid ****s in the FA who are responsible for developing the youth. Having worked with players in Canada who have no football heritage and have done well (regardless of me), I cannot understand that we Engllish with our heritage, struggle and continually fall short.

Actually, you'd think that by now someone would have this figured but perhaps employing mercenaries from all over the world for the Prem, where the money is, supersedes all else.

    i was at the game

was a great match, none of this diving ****e, good proper football, best team won on the day, we really lack any pace upfront but the money in comparison compared to the two top flights is just ridiculous.. spl players are lucky to get 5k a week.. and we all know what prem offers, scottish football has pretty much no money involved im academies or infrastructure and with a tiny population.. it's hard to get a good footballing side.. i mean may at sheffield Wednesday playing upfront sums it up

all was important was the win against ireland!

enjoyed it, and then england are only **** minnows on the international stage, shows how far the british isles is from the true superpowers of world football

we're all ****, we accept it but england.. think they're the real madrid of international football <ok>

****s like quill moaning every game about England <laugh> should all lay off him, he has a spectrum disorder seriously

Spot on PLT. Sir Alex always said Brady could be a great striker and he played him there at times in Man U reserves as a young kid. He showed once again today he has the instincts and movement and finishing ability to be a lethal striker. Robertson is so quick that he can get open in the box on the overlap and score too. Fit them together as you say and we could be potent up there with Hernandez able to get some space. We could still go 3-5-2 on Saturday...with

    McGregor
Chester Dawson Davies (or Macca in for either of them if they are still injured)
    Elmo Thudd Livermore Diame Robertson
    Hernandez Brady

It would have been a different game if Stephen Fletcher had played.

Chris Martin as back-up highlights Scotland's lack of strength in depth.

Kinell thats a bit harsh Hatster. The lad clearly has issues.

Was good to see a bit of passion, and to remind the jocks that whilst they're progressing nicely, and one day may be better than us, for the moment, they're still in our shadow.
