Aston Villa legend Brian Little has taken on a new role as Director of Football for Jersey. 60-year-old Little managed Villa when they were a Premier League powerhouse in the mid-1990s and led them to League Cup success and fourth place in the Premier League in the 1995-96 season. Darlington, Stoke, Hull, Tranmere and Wrexham are also on his managerial CV, he last managed Conference North side Gainsborough Trinity. Speaking about his new role Little said: "I have had a number of opportunities to return to football management, but the offers have not felt right, until I met with the JFA and this one arose. "The opportunity of operating as director of football, given what I have achieved in the game, is really exciting for me and I am looking forward to getting started. "I believe that I can add some real value to the JFA by using my knowledge and experience to take a look at what is happening in local football and I will be working with the executive to develop a long-term strategy that aligns with the needs and desires of football in Jersey." http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/spo...ws/aston-villa-brian-little-appointed-8126449 Don't they only play a few games a year?
Well I'd imagine a bank manager in Monaco probably doesn't feel jealous, likewise Lewis Hamilton, Harry Redknapps dog, that old bloke off Karl Pilkington's 'The Moaning of Life' etc... I'd hazard a guess there would be some strange folk who would rather live in a ****hole working like a dog in the criminal underworld or something or other. I'd also hazard a guess plenty would find living in Jersey isolated and boring and would forego money in order to pursue their preferred choice of lifestyle.
