Former FA chairman David Bernstein says England and Uefa should boycott the 2018 World Cup to force Fifa to reform.

Our conditions should be that Blatter steps down (or doesn't stand again) and that the report into World Cup bidding is released in full. Then we should go, otherwise tell them to stick it. Would mean the implosion of World football, but it can't get worse.

Put Matth in charge of ALL football related matters.

Then and only then will football be a sport worthy of it's heritage.

    Boycotting wont achieve anything.
it will be like 94, when we didn't even qualify.
someone else will take our place.

All I know is that when we (USA) boycotted the 1980 Olympics it sure made the Russians reconsider their invasion of Afghanistan...not. (LOL)

I agree with the above poster...a boycott would do nothing.

We should definitely boycott...couldn't give a s**t about Blatter but if we start now at least we wouldn't be playing these bollox qualifiers any more.

The FA are as big a shambles as Fifa. f** England and f** the World Cup. Both are more interested in money than the good of football.

The only solution from our involvement is for the UK, USA and Germany (all aggrieved by FIFA) to pass legislation banning the purchase of TV, Radio and Internet rights for the World Cup. That would hugely, hugely, hugely dent FIFA's income stream.

In reality we can only rely on the FBI going hell for leather in their criminal investigation.

We should Boycott... sure FIFA will do nothing other than laugh at us- but then we won't get embarrassed by Roy Hodgsons' inability to manage! <ok>
