Na for every high earner in the MLS some fool is making like $1,000 a week. Omar Gonzalez the season before last was making something like $250,000 a year and he was one of the top CBs in the league. Zusi in 2012 was only making $100,000 a year. You can see why the MLS isnt high on that list. It will certainly change quickly though with salaries rising the way they are.

Sure, no relegation or promotion, an artificially small number of teams, markets running around 30 million in some cases, a financial commitment of around $100 million just to join the league, salary cap (although the DP rule can have players rise above that), and a league that will move or sell your team if you do not make enough of a profit. Its no wonder, but I dont think you want our system over there even if ours is sustainable.

    100% this.

How the **** is someone like deadmau5 (what **** uses numbers in their name?) popular enough to make even a fraction of that money?

How many of those are American? Lemme give you a clue....barely any.

They do play modern dance music btw..

Considering how many people go to see them and have a good time, they're getting paid what they're worth in the current market.

Just because some of you don't like their stuff, doesn't make them ****. Personally Id rather listen to any of them than Led Zep, who judging by that thread about them also didnt exactly do all their own stuff either.

Is that total earnings? A lot of footballing salaries are made up with bonus payments for goals, winning etc etc.

Considering how many people go to see footballers and watch them on ?TV and the billions generated through this then they are getting paid what they are worth in the market.

Regarding Led Zeppelin, they did their own stuff as far as playing was concerned. None of those on that list could replicate what Page does. A well trained monkey could do a good job of replicating the mono nous electric sounds which make up dance music.

The one question on here worth asking. Let's also not forget many footballers make tonnes through advertising and video games etc. as well, which would not be covered by the above list.

La Liga stands out for me on that list. The lower clubs must pay sod all!

A girl once offered to lick my bumhole when I was DJing. Shame she was about 4 times the size of me.

Sounds like returning the favour would have been problematic.
