I took evens on Balthazar last night. Quite lumpy so hope it goes well today. Apart from that I'm not overly bothered about anything. Good luck lads.
As I stated on the tipping comp thread, I'm hoping for Twisters to have a good day. I think Blaklion will win and win well today and 7/4 is a fair price. Like Stick says, its an amazing slice of luck that connections have snapped up one of such potential and hopefully he can prove himself as classy as The New One. I fancy a good run out of Shangani today with the stable going well so at 16/1 I will play eway. Will also be punting Benbens, Splash Of Ginge, Balthazar King and River Deep. feels like the jumps season has finally arrived!!
I love a good novice chase and I like CHAMPAGNE WEST 4/1 and in the next, I'll take on Twister's hotpot with CHAMPAGNE PRESENT 4/1. Ruby booked certainly wont hurt that one's chances. Hopefully the rich form of horses with Champagne in their name will continue
12:25 Lingfield - John Joiner 33/1 just a small ew on this one. The yard are going quite well and can pop up with big price winners

13:50 Cheltenham - Hollow Blue Sky e/w (A very tricky handicap with a big field, so small e/w for interest as it's on Channel 4!).
A method I use quite successfully highlight these two today. Chel 1.50 Karinga Dancer (win + larger place) Anay Turge (win) all @ bfsp
2:00 Fairview over in South Africa, just spotted a horse called Lord Badger I've got to have a little go on that at
Think it's fair to say that Monetaire would have hacked up barring his shocking mistake at the first and a small bit of interference at the 2nd. The way he may up the ground effortlessly over 2 miles (for a horse who probably stays 3) suggests he's very well handicapped.
Agree entirely, ROTO, maybe a slightly easier course would help him until his jumping at speed improves a bit? Certainly a good prospect.
