Eh? Sunderland have been charged by The FA following their game against Everton on 9 November 2014. It is alleged that in or around the 76th minute of the game, the club failed to ensure its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion. The club has until 6pm on 17 November 2014 to respond to the charge. Read more at http://www.thefa.com/news/governance/2014/nov/sunderland-charged#rhTG60qf0CwCQh1o.99
Apparently : @PA_dugout ‪#‎SAFC‬ charged for "failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion" following ‪#‎EFC‬ penalty award on Sunday.
Didn't see much out of the ordinary...If this is true then every team should be charged every time they complain..
Well larson was encouraging the crowd when they were saying referees a ****er he was making the arm gesture "keep going and make it louder"
Just re watched it, McCarthy, Eto and Naismith all pushed themselves in between seb/o'shea and the ref to get in the refs face. Fact. They were way more aggressive invading his personal space.
QPR also being done. `Queens Park Rangers and Sunderland have been charged with failing to control their players during Premier League matches at the weekend, the Football Association announced on Thursday. QPR's charge relates to the reaction of their players after striker Charlie Austin saw two goals disallowed in the eighth minute of their 2-2 draw at home to Manchester City on Saturday. One goal was ruled out for offside, the other after City goalkeeper Joe Hart accidentally kicked the ball twice at a free-kick. "It is alleged that in or around the eighth minute of the fixture, the club failed to ensure its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion," the FA said in a statement. Austin eventually did put QPR ahead at Loftus Road, only for Sergio Aguero to equalise, and although a Martin Demichelis own goal restored the hosts' lead, Aguero struck again late on to earn the champions a point.`
This is totally bewildering. I cannot think of a precedent for this, so maybe the FA are going to clamp down on all protests.
http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/spor...underlands-fa-charge-against-everton-8115205? The FA's decision to charge Sunderland for failing to ‘ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion’ last weekend against Everton, raises an interesting question. Namely: who is responsible for players’ conduct during a match? Surely it is the players themselves, rather than their club. Sunderland’s players were protesting against a penalty awarded to Everton – a decision that replays, in fact, showed was the correct one. But if players overstep the mark, the referee has the power to caution them for dissent, or to send them off for foul and/or abusive language. The referee last Sunday, Lee Mason, clearly saw nothing wrong because he took no action against anyone involved. So why charge the club? It is a strange one. Can't argue with that. Bull **** is what it is.
Not in my eyes it wasn't.. Replays show that he got the ball before the player went over his leg, so in my opinion it was a cracking tackle and no penalty..
I mean about the charge. In regard to the pen I know 100% the ref could not see it and the linesman's view was obscured by Connors body. He didn't flag. They're not to give it if they don't see it. The only person who should have been fined is the ref
