I'm off on hols tomorrow, so hopefully when i return , our team will look a bit like this: New GK Rangel Caulker Williams Bertrand Dyer Allen New CM Sinclair Dobbie Soriano
i'd love that too, but how can he be the same player, against better, tougher opponents, after the horrific couple of years he's had.
Haha yeah I'm a tough manager.. seriously though if Soriano is signed I personally would prefer him to Graham if we play the same system as last year (and i see no reason to change that). I did read somewhere that we could try and play Soriano behind Graham, im my opinion, no that would not be good, Soriano is very much a Van Nistelrooy type forward, who is the focal point of attacks not a drop-off type. However, he may take a bit of time to adjust , you just don't know, so in that case graham would be starting. I should have possibly said Soriano / Graham then , but my personal opinion, if we have both and can only accomodate one of them, for me that one would be Sorinano, so yes therefore I would drop Graham. You may not agree, but at least now you know my thinking...
If Dyer isnt scoring you might find Soriano playing "wide" right alongside Graham and Sinclair. Anyway this is going to be the fun part of the season - speculating on the ifs ands or buts. Who knows what system Rogers will try next season.
Graham will defo start up front, dyer will only be dropped if he's in poor form and not for lack of goals cause he brings balance to the team and creates havoc for the opposition. If he scored goals he'd be playing for barcelona 'a' not us and as for the cm spot, what's wrong with leon. A class act who's defo more than capable of holding his own in prem
Graham will is a must start for me up front, I hope we too get a central midfielder who has a more physical approach but yet good technically (senna for example). Dyer won't get dropped unless he has an injury, his pace will be needed in the prem and he's been very consistent of late.
speaking of hols, did the sth island of NZ in 2009, hong kong, macau, china last year, new caladonia and vanuatu this year, fiji is booked for next year, then hopefully (fingers crossed) UK and some of Europe in 2013 (has anyone been on the Baltic or Danube cruises, if so pls let me know). hope u enjoy florida
