Vehicle Tax Disc

I just renewed my road tax online.

Apparently, we do not need to display tax discs on our windscreen any more.

About time too. The DVLA have all the info, they expose that to the coppers via our registration mark.

Gone are the days when ye get a £60 fine cos yer tax disc was not properly displayed by it falling off the windscreen due to condensation.

 

Got a new car in October and not displayed tax disk.

Never bothered anyway.Where I live the cops think they are doing well if you have tread on a couple of your tyres.

 

Never drove legally so its never really been a problem.

 

Av been done once for improperly displayed disc even though I was road legal. It fell aff the windscreen due to condensation and I didn't notice.



Av been done cos my new disc was not yet displayed. I had my new disc but had not yet displayed it. I was gonny display the new disc in the morning on the way to work. In the mean time some **** of a neighbour called the cops on me and I got fined for not displaying even though I could prove I was road legal.

You don't drive a car. If it was love discs you needn't worry either.

Probably one of those neighbours that resent him getting the parking spot and pissed all the time and his parking is all over the shop
