What's the greatest game you have seen in the Premier League?

As a black and white I'd say it was the second 4-3 defeat at Anfield..... or the 5-0 win over Man Utd. Both unbelieveable days and memorable for different reasons.

The 4-3 was brilliant some have said the defending was terrible but it wasn't that at all both teams just went at each other and the forwards were just brilliant for both sides.

As a Chelsea fan, beating Spurs 6-1 at the Lane.

As a neutral, probably when Newcastle came back from 4-0 down vs Arsenal. That or the 4-3 OP mentioned.

Back in the day Chelsea's comeback against Bolton scoring 4 in the last 20 to win 4-3... Sam Allardyce own goal.

Smashing United 3-0 and Wigan 8-0 to win league good.

    Any win over Spuds

Middlesbrough 0-0 Charlton Athletic. The 2001-2002 season. What a game.

That will have been a close third for me mate. I was behind the goal and at the end I literally slumped in my seat (Keegan-esqe).. totally drained of energy...

If I remember rightly Southampton beat Man Utd 6-3 the week after we did in another epic game.
That's probably the only time in his career that, the greatest goalkeeper in the world, Schmeichel ever conceded 11 goals in two games.
Think they still went on to win the title that year but may be wrong.

    Newcastle 5-0 Man U
    Newcastle 4-4 Arsenal
    Newcastle 5-1 Sunderland

However my favourite game of all time was Newcastle 4-2 Sheff Wed first season back in the PL. Monday night pissing down with rain but whole ground was jumping for 90mins solid. You had Cramlington born Andy Sinton bagging a double for Sheff Wed, and a standout performance from former B&W Chris Waddle. On fire Andy Cole bagged two, with a flying volley stunner from Alex Mathie and the much underrated Malcolm Allen grabbing the 4th. Best atmosphere I've ever experienced.

    Leicester City 5 - Man U 3

Awesome result for us & one that a lot of neutrals seemed to enjoy too...

1979 FA Cup final, Arsenal (3) v Man Utd (2) Also known as the '5 minute final'.

1989 title decider, Liverpool (0) v Arsenal (2) Classy show of respect by the pool fans at the end of that game :)

Our 1-6 win at the Lane in 98 was great. Was at that game......<ok> Flo got a hattrick if I recall.

Also our 4-2 comeback in the FA Cup 4th round against Pool in 97 when we went on to win the tournament.

Yes, that one was great for a neutral fan like myself. Or anyone besides ManU fans.

Another one was the Chelsea 6-0 shellacking of Arsenal last season. During that game we saw Arsene Wenger make a face as if he were sucking on a lemon.
Oh, wait a minute...he always looks like that.

Plenty of big scorelines but when it comes to the Premier League era no fixture has excited me as much as those between United and Arsenal. The quality on show, the approach by both teams, the amount riding on these fixtures, I would happily watch most again, but one understated match I hold dear was at Highbury in April 2003 ended 2-2 and United's performance that night. The game was built up as the title decider, the result swung the title back in our favour.
