    After their record spending on transfers and wages, we expected these clubs to challenge past 8 November .... is it to early to rule them out of the title race, say getting within 6 points of the leaders...

    They still can't put away the teams they should be putting away...in other words, they're still trying to sit on a one-goal lead against lower teams too often.
    If Costa's hamstrings ever heal, I'll breathe easier. And FWIW, I am not sold on Courtois. Too shaky, IMO. I'd rather see Cech and his history of clean sheets behind the bus.

    Agree, we need to be 2-0 up at HT and killing teams.

    Hopefully Fab will improve positionally; I would like Pogba in there, or another monster alongside Matic.

    I don't think we have any chance of winning the league but a 5 point gap at this stage isn't that big. Could be a lot worse. More than double that.
