Some responses are from me, others are not. Ideally, these message board accounts wouldn't have been necessary, if everything had gone to plan we'd have had our own forum dedicated to dealing exclusively with CTWD matters, but unfortunately that all went pear shaped(though we do now have a web design bod on board, so it shouldn't be far off now).
Which seems to confirm my initial question to CTWD, where I asked if there was a more detailed response pending as that one is lacking in detail, especially relative to the agenda item I suggested and subsequent replies querying why I asked. It also buggers up the claim that 'atmosphere' can't be discussed. If CTWD don't tell us it's discussed, how are us members supposed to know, especially when it's claimed it can't be? It'll be interesting to see the full CTWD minutes to see what specifically was discussed.
I think the earlier replies at least highlight the need for the replies to be clearly from CTWD rather than just a poster's opinions.
They've not been done yet, I've chased them up. Edit: They'll be typed up tonight, hopefully posted tomorrow.
Below is a link to the minutes for all CTWD meeting minutes from the end of the campaign (starting in May, running to October, with the most recent minutes being at the bottom): http://notohulltigers.tumblr.com/post/102311375901/ctwd-committee-meeting-minutes
Seriously? That's it? I would have expected something aimed more at fan engagement rather than something that looks like a committee sitting in judgement. Oh well.
Just my thoughts, but as arguably the biggest single collection of Hull City Supporters, should this board vote on a representative to sit at the meetings? I would expect a thread on here of issues and questions fans ask, along with the reply from the meeting, pretty much as Amber Nectar does. I would argue that mods should be excluded to reduce allegations of bias. I think we could also exclude anyone who already attends in some other capacity. So, without knowing if they'd accept, my nominations would be, Obadiah or Happy Tiger. What do you reckon?
What, everyone on the board? I didn't PM Happy or Oba, as it was more a suggestion of the type of poster I think would be good as a rep even though they're different to each other. PMing would have kept that from others, whose views I'm after.
Is it for James Mooney to decide who represents us, or for anyone to accept for that matter? I'd suggest it's for the board to choose. If that turns out to be PLT, that's fine, but if it's about fans representation, surely it needs to be demonstrated that it is in fact, representative?
