CTWD is a fan organisation, some of our members asked us to try and help out moving those who were not happy with the last seat move, which is what we're aiming to do(along with looking at anything else we can do to help improve the atmosphere).

James is having meetings with fans and taking their ideas on board, but he's not going to ask everyone who wants to move seats to email him so he can sort it, so it requires someone else to do it, hence our offer to assist.

It seems you're damned if you do and damned if you don't.

That's back to front. The request to CTWD was primarily to put the atmosphere on the agenda at the recent meeting, for which the minutes are pending.

It's not damned if you do, it just depends how it's done. As a fans group, damned if you don't should be a given.

A few interesting responses. Its always been awful and always will be. Its not in our culture. Its all the fault of somebody else.

I think its good that CTWD is at least trying to rectify some of these problems. We have roughly three main groups of fans that want to sing. The North, some in the East and some in the South with the odd pockets elsewhere. In my opinion CTWD is the perfect conduit to get the three main groups together and try and co-ordinate the singing. We know that the South Stand get squeezed out of the North Stand/East Stand chant. We know that the East Stand doesn't always hear the chants in the North.

The atmosphere would improve if we can synchronise the singing of those people scattered around the stadium. This is a first step and hopefully one that works. If not we can always try again and again and again.

But all these fan groups that have turned up.. where was last season or the season before or the season before or the 2005 season or the 2003 season..

like i said.. fans on here hate drums.. hate flags.. yet legia warsaw... just like the lokeren fans.. european fans are just ****ing better.. all we have is people singing one or two songs when we are winning.. we will never ever have the passion that these europeans do.. you're wasting your time.. its just a fact of the english culture, go watch say a polish side.. and you see.. the kc will never rock

a whole ****ing stand singing their hearts out

we cant even get 1/2 stand doing that.. its english culture.. only sing when your winning and even then. its the same old recycled songs

    city till i die

we are hull we r hull we r stoke we r stoke

just english football for you.. theres none of this passion over here, its a fact we have to accept. the majority of people just dont care

The clips of foreign teams isn't really support, it's just a group performance, but they show the possibilities if fans are coordinated and not being told to sit down by spectators and stewards.

This myth of the evictions working is put to bed. Let's learn from the mistake and move on. Obadiah's spot on. It needs something simple to encourage communication between the fans in the stands and between the stands. Noise is the norm, those requesting others to sit down should be offered seats lower down in the stand.

If I do have to sit down for a little while I would NEVER expect anyone else to sit down .. I would not want them to .

It would by my own fault IF I couldn't see for going in a singing standing area .

Different if I went in a sitting area such as the west stand I wouldn't block someone's view .

Singing and standing is all part of going to games for me . Even more then having a great view though the view is brilliant in N4

most of you are missing the point historically its always being younger fans that made the traditional kop type ends and generated the noise and atmosphere....unfortunately the bulk of young english lads now cannot afford to go to football regulary....when we were at school and there was a "Big " match how many went with a gang of mates from school....this just doesnt happen now !

Without a return to some sort of unreserved standing and cheap tickets for under 18's nothing fundamentally is going to change !

I wonder how much the stand move cost, and given it's on the stadium, who paid, SMC or Hull City?

CTWD, any news on how this is progressing?

I'm given to understand some, but not yet all that responded have had replies?

We have contacted all those who came forward offering to get involved in this initiative, we have also contacted the club to request their assistance and we await their response.

Assuming that the club are happy to get on board, there will be a meeting arranged shortly for an exchange of ideas(there are representatives from all stands), which will then be put to the club and fans alike.

This thread will continue to be checked for any ideas that fans would like to put forward.

Looks like some emails need to be resent then.

What options are being considered for fans that don't bother with messageboards to get involved, especially if they're not CTWD members?

With respect, you always seem to know more than one person who doesn't receive the e-mail, whoever it's from and whatever it's about. You said the exact same thing about the consultation over the seat move and the invitations to the FWG. It can't just be a coincidence. Maybe all your mates don't know how to use e-mail or something.

With respect. <laugh> of course it was.

What consultation over the seat moves was this?

Who said it was my mates that didn't get a response this time?
