3.40 Southwell. DEFINITELY BETTER. 6-4. Check out how easily this horse won on Tuesday. Has multiple entries over the next 5 days. Clearly cashing in while they can. This horse is miles ahead of the handicapper. Big Big win bet. Get on quick as the price is dropping fast......
Fascinating to see Mark McNiff sending the 10 year old Arrak over from Ireland for the Carlisle 1.15. This Monsun gelding was formerly with Andre Farbre on the flat but hasn't seen the racecourse for an incredible 2005 DAYS. I don't think I've ever seen a horse running who has such a lengthy absence to overcome. They must think he still has ability though, to pay for the ferry.
Chevallier 7/1 levey/hannon. My tips normally run like they are 2005 days older and should be flung off a ferry. But once more to the well I go!!!
Kempton 3.50 China Club 5-4 I am just putting this up as it's the horse I was given to back a couple of weeks back. It ran a good race when racing green to run into third place in what looked a good maiden. This horse looks as though it should be a big player today. No early prices as of yet except for the 5-4 on betfair. I am going to see what it opens but will likely look for a bit bigger before going in again.
Kempton 3.20 Gild Master (no price yet) Have him in my tracker, needs the step up to the 1m and not to follow when running at Lingfield, he looks to have abit bout him on the figures on previous form nd looks good to get his winning accout up and running tomorrow
Really cannot fathom the gamble on WESTMINSTER in the Kempton 4:20 tomorrow. Do they really think a horse improves for leaving John Gosden. Much prefer FINN CLASS myself (10-1). In the other 4-1+ race I am quite sweet on the chances of KUNG HEI FAT CHOY who is back to a sensible mark.
Phenomenal run of selections yesterday You See Alas I missed all the action as I was traveling back from Wales Good Luck
Morning, pilgrims. Let me start by wishing the elder of the Mr Waley-Cohen’s a very happy 66th birthday. I’m sure I speak for everyone, and I do mean everyone, on the forum when I say have a great day, old boy. Am waving the no-bet banner, as I don’t think those bookie chappies are giving much away today, but must admit that today is well above average for a November Monday gee-gee wise. Am greatly looking forward to the second run of The Fugue’s half brother, CHINA CLUB (3.50 Kempers) whilst at Southwell (on the Sod not not the Sands) several in the county are of the opinion that Michael Butler, who ain’t had a winner for yonks, will have 2 today courtesy of TYPICAL OSCAR (1.35) and dear old LAMPS (2.05). As I said above though those old rogues, the bookie chappies, are being particularly stingy re all 3. Good luck, troops.
A sporting selection in a wide-open race is Epee Celeste in the 1.00 at Southwell. Ran really well off today's mark of 93 last time out when he found only Milgen Bay too good. Has a lot less weight to carry today and is currently the outsider of the field at 6/1 - little e/w dabble. Jewellery looks to be finally getting in the handicappers grip, Combustible Lady hasn't won for 3 years and Double Silver is up a stone in the weights. According To Sarah is the danger with the lad taking 10 off so a small reverse forecast with Epee Celeste as well.
Some cracking tipping on here yesterday by the looks of things, well done guys!! Two have caught my eye today... 3:00 Carl - Rival Destruval 7/1 Taking on some talented horse and needs to find some form but can run well fresh. Worth a chance methinks. 3:30 Carl - Presence Felt 10/3 Testing ground is thought to bring out the best in this one and receiving weight from all but one of its rivals should really go close in a race like this. Two singles and a small double. Good luck!!
There spot on with eepe oddy I did get 7s early doors but 6s is way to big head spin is also to big rowdy roacher spanish fleet sir mangan have boughtgold one is now odds on but it was a nice price early door see if I can emulate yesterday lol cheers all and good luck
Spaghetti Bolognese. Fair to middling. 6/10. I see the aforementioned Waley-Cohen’s are looking to get Cheltenham’s Open meeting off to a flyer on Friday with intended runners in the first 2 races. Good luck to them. Most interesting runner on that day though has to be RALLY, in the lucky last, who the 11th richest man in Wales has moved from Mr Henderson’s barn to that of Nige Twiston-Davies. Was always a fan of this horse (I’m sure he was in my list to follow last year) and 122 looks a fairly lenient perch especially when you consider the horse he brushed aside at Wetherby, a year ago, Vivaldi Collonges is now on 139. Rally disappointed in 2 races after this but there were genuine excuses – Grade 2 company was just too hot for him as was the heavy Ffos Las ground. Nige is no Mr Henderson but if he’s ‘ready to go’, after 11 months off, on Friday, Rally on 122 certainly appeals hugely.
Don't you think the Graduation Chase is unnecessarily difficult to introduce Mickie to fences? Obviously there's plenty of weight concessions but why would you test her against 151 rated animals straight out of the gate? I don't get it.
