Warrington host Exeter City in the first game of the 1st Round Proper - it's not so many years back we entered at this stage and could only dream of reaching the latter stages. It's nearly 6 months since the Final but to be honest it's only really struck me now what we very nearly achieved last season. Shows how much the club has achieved since the move to the KC.
Exeter are super **** – actually feel a bit embarrassed for them. Great cup tie and all that and great so far for Warrington.
I actually really enjoyed watching this match. Was fairly glued to it - far far more than I ever am to any Champions League match. And a great result for Warrington Town; think they are my 2nd nearest non-league team geographically so was slightly biased towards them anyway.
