Hull City defender Brian Lenihan has joined Championship side Blackpool on loan, Tigers' boss Steve Bruce has confiirmed. Lenihan made his debut for the Republic of Ireland under-21s in May this year, and signed for Hull in the summer from League of Ireland side Cork City. Bruce has also confirmed that his two goalkeepers Allan McGregor and Steve Harper have returned to training after being sidelined through injury. McGregor has been suffering with a shoulder problem, whilst Harper suffered a bicep injury whilst deputising for McGregor during the 2-2 draw with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium last month. http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2014...ian-lenihan-joins-blackpool-on-a-months-loa/?

Good that he's getting playing time at a good level, just a little concerned we've allowed him to go to a club that's in crisis.
Dont be so stupid. He has done a great job as a stand in.. No need to rush either AM/SH back for this weekend. As long as Brian plays then it does not matter if they are in crisis or not. TWS v. Blackpool........ lol. It is much better for him than the stupid reserve league especially as he is good enough for the championship.
The young RB we signed in summer has just gone on loan to Blackpool (BBC). Good opportunity to see what kind of quality he is.
Up against TWS tomorrow - be very interesting to see what impact he has or can he cope with it at all - it would be great if any tiger fan(s) would be tempted to go and monitor and report back here
Absolutely, in fact it probably a good place to go, as hopefully he will get games and shine, which can only be good for his confidence.
Blackpool could be really good in the sense of character building. They slowly seem to be getting their **** back together, and seeing as how TWS have had a winding up order raised against them today, could be a better bet than somewhere like that. If Blackpool start to string some results together, and a decent team is created, can't do him any harm at all.
Gone to Blackpool on loan according to BBC. If someonne else has posted this, I'm sorry, I missed it.
