I do feel for homeless people but not when they behave like this obviously. My work colleague once got into a fight with an aggressive beggar, not in Manchester though Do you watch the tv show 'Cant pay we'll take it away'? I feel really sorry for some of the people on there, not all though There was this immigrant with 2 young children and a wife who were evicted and he just looked a broken man. Was crying and stuff and he just looked like he'd done everything he could to get them out of this hole but it wasnt good enough. Felt really bad for him
No I don't watch that tv show, sounds a bit sad. I don't go into Liverpool city centre very often but one of the last times I did, I encountered a Polish girl begging, went to give her some money and she gets out one of those direct debit sign up things. I walked away. I felt a bit embarrassed but whereas I would give money on the street, I'm not signing up to any direct debits.
To get back on topic - I was rather hoping that utd's seeming demise and our corresponding resurgence would carry on. It seems this season we're levelling off and it will be next season when we see who's on the rise and who's falling away - we just can't seem to both go in the same direction.
I know which is a shame, would love to see us both challenging for the league as long as we won it of course

I've no problem with Manchester apart from united (and I consider them a Surrey club anyway) Top city and proper Northern folk The weather makes Liverpool seem tropical Great bands and loads of boss venues. A history entwined with that of my fair city too. I just ****ing hate united and their decline is a source of great comfort in these difficult times
