Championship 101: change half the team, you are going to lose. Simple. Hopefully the lesson has been learned.
A poor as it was for Watford and you can't judge a manager after two games but fair play to Rowett. If I was asked to plot Watford's downfall based on the season so far my advice would be; 1, lots of crosses into the box 2, man mark Toszer everything stems from him. Simple but effective it seems.
hockdude, can't you delete this? If McCarthy et al read this we won't score another point this season. (i.e. right on the money)
Do you believe him? http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...ays_only_Pudil_was_rested_against_Birmingham/
I believe he thought he'd selected a team that would win the match. He was wrong. I believe he will learn from it.
That is a nice diplomatic way of putting it. Too many changes, for whatever reason, disrupts the team and turns it into a new one which needs time to gel and learn to play together. This cannot be expected to happen in the first game that the new team plays together.
Said Pudli was the only one rested - Vydra had a knock? Well should we have put somebody else on the bench instead..
Quote from SJ "If people believed we would win win all the games after I arrived here, it is impossible" Ok hands up which of you believed we would win every game under Sj....C'mon who was it, own up!
