It's a lot of money to look at a pillar.

What's happened to some of the free travel they had last year
I thought they had to set aside £250,000 to help fans with costs

Presumably some went on subsidising the coaches to Liverpool as they were half the price of those to Everton.

I'm surprised with it being 3 weeks before Xmas that there's no free trav.
    Midweek also.
Arsenalast December was £25 all in

Agreed, with Everton and Chelsea both in December I would have liked to have seen free travel for at least one of them.

Taking it off the cost of tickets would be fairer, as not everyone wants to go on Tiger Travel.

I agree, but I'm sure the free travel is an incentive to boost away attendances rather than a ticket discount which may only be a few pound per person and is much less likely to encourage someone to attend.

I thought this game came up at the recent Fans Group meeting with James Mooney. It was suggested that it was more likely to be hard core fans going to a midweek away fixture and that some of the 250k could be used to subsidise tickets for this game to reward/help those fans.

Apparently so. The club can use it where they see fit.

Ticket prices can be adjusted. Southampton was increased because of their league position and Spurs has been reduced due to the match being moved I believe.

I'm fairly sure the club can use it how they see fit to benefit supporters, even reducing visting fan tickets if the other club reciprocate.

They can subsidise tickets for away games, that's what was suggested to James Mooney and he thought it was a good idea at the time.

I wasn't at the most recent meeting but the minutes show that it was discussed just as it was for the first meeting which I was at, but the discussion and outcome seemed to be the same both times.

Surely we can agree that as everyone needs a ticket and not everyone needs travel, reducing ticket costs rather than travel is the way to go. Certainly the meeting I was at was pretty much unanimously in favour of subsidising ticket prices. So I'm not sure why we're still discussing it?

So soon after the rip off game @ Man Utd i dont see many City fans going especially on a wednesday night.

Maybe a fire sale would be a good idea for the game. <whistle>
