Far from a good display tonight from Watford, but a good one from Brum.

    FULL TIME: Brum 2-1 Watford

Rotational madness, when will these foreign managers learn that there are no gimmies in the English Championship

As I said Saturday, defence always look one slip away from disaster. However, didn't over react to victory on Saturday, won't over react to defeat tonight.

When are these foreign managers going to learn that you cannot make wholesale changes to the starting line up in this league. There are no easy games in this division that allow you not to take the opposition seriously. Yes, have one or two changes but in my opinion three or more weakens the team and hands an unnecessary advantage to the opposition. How many times do we have to suffer this?

I suspect for most of this season. We had it all last season and ended up with a dismal away record. I can see the same thing happening again. These inexperienced foreign managers seem to have a superiority complex when it comes to understanding English football - they don't at all. By the time they start to realise that you cannot make wholesale changes each week, it's too late and they're on their way.

Poor performance, poor result - we are obviously not as good as some of our players seem to think we are.

It had to happen. We don't need to be too despondent yet.

My heart sank before the game when I saw that Lewis McGugan was in mid-field for us. I have hardly ever seen a good performance from him and from what I heard tonight he did very little. If ever there was a player who thought he was better than he is, he would get my vote. It was the mid-field who failed to get a grip on the game, apart from sloppy defending at times, and with Tozser supported by McGugan and Anya, it looked like a disaster waiting to happen.

Anya, Hoban, and McGugan are way too weak for the level at which we are trying to compete and even playing against the lowest club we must play our strongest team because we all know what happens when the weak fringe players come in..........we lose!

Great win for the Boys in Royal Blue..

Rowett has turned the team around in one week.

Was "resting" Andrews wise with Munari injured?

Anya and McGugan are hardly going to be like for like replacements.

I think that was probably the biggest mistake..

Not seen the goals but suggestion was we gave their guy too much space which has happened a few times regardless of who has been playing in the back line.

Birmingham were up for the game with the bigger crowd and motivation of a new manager.

This is what happened in the Zola season--losing to teams we "should" have beaten, leaving us that vital couple of points short of the automatic promotion place at the end of the season, and into the lottery of the play-offs. Please do not let this happen again! Andrews is the Munari replacement not McGuigan, and I do wonder if there is a starting place in this team for Anya, who is off the pace at the moment--gives the ball away to easily, not a goal threat. Pudil offers more going forward than dear old Doyley, so hopefully a better showing on Saturday with him and Vydra returned to the starting line-up.

The only thing that saved a dreary cold night in brum from being a disaster was the balti pie. It was so much better than the dry version served at the Vic.

The football was very forgettable i'm afraid.
