There's a marked difference though. Liverpool no doubt do aspire to be as good as Real Madrid. We do not aspire to be Man City, or see Liverpool as favourites, as Moyes insanely suggested.
Before kick off? Think again old boy Anyway, thought you were to above us to talk to us? Find it hard to ignore dont you
Having to keep using the mute button on ITV. Every time Mcmanaman opens up with that irritating scouse accent,it grates on the nerves
If the RS had some balls and didn't surrender before the match, they would have got something from the match. Madrid was there for the taking. Ronaldo was s**t and with sterling on they would have got 1 point at least. If only Brenda wasn't such a pussy.. #keeprodgers
Doubt they would have gotten anything tbh. Real seemed to be on cruise control the entire game - like they realised Liverpool could never hurt them and they didn't need to concentrate or put any effort in for an easy win. The match was summed up after about 15 mins when Markovic went storming through the middle, and Varane just strolled up and took the ball off him like he wasn't even there. Like Real knew that they could take it easy, and could still step it up and win at any point regardless of what Liverpool tried. Did Casillas even make a save?
At least our reserves played well. But I think we could have got something from the game with a bit of luck.
